Beware of this office. The dentist told me that I had 16 cavities between my teeth, that I needed skin grafts for receding gum lines and they said I needed to be using an expensive electronic toothbrush that they just happened to sell at a discounted rate of $130. I was cautious going in because three of my other co-workers warned me that they had told each of them they needed to have work done that they felt was unnecessary. I went back to my previous dentist and I only had one cavity and that skin grafts were definitely not necessary now, and possibly never. Its obvious that they spent a lot of money on expensive equipment and renovating the office space and they are now depending on unsuspecting customers to help them pay for it.

Would never go there again. Went in just wanting a tooth clean and ended up being told I needed that and that and that I had a gum infection. I left with my teeth feeling worse and thought it might have been just the prodding but the next day I was in serious pain and could not come to brush my teeth for the next week! I work very hard and cant spend the time running to the dentist every 5 minutes. The upsell is real. I could not count the time I was told that there was no home remedy as I ran out of fingers and toes. Criticizing my past dentist from Vegas was not a good idea because he was a dentist I liked which are far and few between

I started going here since it was in my insurance network and around the corner. It is a great little office with friendly staff and personnalized attention. Since it is only Dr. Mendez and her hygenist, some days get a little crazy for the both of them. However, with a smaller client base she can get you back in for follow-up appointments within days of your original appointment. I have already recommneded her to many people and they like her too.

Wow.... I called this office in regards to some mutual patients and if we treated our patients or referring Doctors the way her office manager Yadira treated me over the phone we would be out of business. I would highly recommend that Dr. Mendez get a professional office manager that does not yell and treat others with such disrespect. If she was part of my staff she wouldnt last a day!

This office is very convenient if you live in the Coconut Grove area I recommend you check it out, Dr .Mendez and her staff are very friendly and knowledgeable.The Dental service is great! and they accept my insurance ill be going to this office for years to come!

I am very scared of going to the dentist but Dr. Mendez is very good, she is nurturing and gentle. She made me feel safe and I couldnt be happier with my "new" tooth!
