The hospital is historically significant and has many myths surrounding it. I assure you, it is not haunted. The facility is currently in the process of being demolished. The hospital has a rich history and should be given more respect than its received. I made a documentary on the place and it really is much more than some haunted Asylum. There is so much history in that place and its a shame to see it being torn down.

RIP The buildings are almost all demolished. I loved exploring it. It was so cool. Unfortunately it was just being vandalized by some idiots who think vandalizing beautiful and historic buildings is cool. There is an abandoned factory near it. They added cameras though. I dont know why they would destroy such a historic building for whatever dumb ass reason. They couldve just cleaned the place up a little and make it into a tourist attraction or something. This place has a lot of history and it is one of NJs most oldest and most haunted places. But noooooo they want to demolish it, NJ sucks.

i loved this places, as far as adventuring inside of it goes. all the things including the paper work was so beyond great to read and learn. the last day i went broke my heart because it was half way down, and i didnt even get to finish exploring the other buildings. :(
