Dr. Monka and the Medical Institute of NJ has been fantastic. Their office is busy because it is high in demand. If patients didnt like it...they would eventually stop going! The wait time is very limited since they have several doctors. If you want to see lousy health care try England, Europe and several other places around the world. I am well traveled and experienced health care globally, including all over the US. This office does a great job. My family and I are never rushed. As far as Dr. Monka being in with the drug companies, he does not just prescribe medicine. In fact, if I had one complaint it is that I dont always get medicine for illness...probably for good reason. Dr. Monka has a business? Oh my! Are you telling me that Dr. Monka needs to make money? Of course it is a business. Making money and occasionally accepting tickets does not make a person unethical. Keep up the great work and thank you Dr. Monka & the Medical Institute to NJ!

Although the doctors were great, the rude receptionists and their lack of respect and professionalism ultimately drove me away. My childrens appointments had been cancelled, without our knowledge, and on one occasion I waited in the office for 45 minutes with two cranky toddlers, just to be told that "the doctor stepped out. Shell be back in an hour. Would you like to wait or reschedule?" When I asked to get my medical records from this office so I could switch doctors, I was given a major attitude by the office manager. This place is not worth your trouble.

I just realized I could write a review about Dr.Monka! He is awesome! I have been around the block with doctors treating me for respiratory problems and he is the only one that makes sense! He listens...and if he isnt sure about something, he tells you and then helps you find out! I have never had a doctor return my call so fast and with any tests taken, I hear from him within a day...sometimes the same day! I am living in Texas at this time and I flew back to New Jersey to see him!

This place is okay if you are young and healthy and just need a regular place to get a flu shot, but if there is anything genuinely wrong with you, go elsewhere. Medicine should meet the needs of the patient, not the doctor.

I have been a patient for 30 years. When I first moved into the area, Dr. Monka was in a different practice. Luckily, he took over my osteopaths office and merged my files! He is the best!
