I went to Dr. Quartell after seeing 4 other ob/gyns due to some bothersome and large fibroids I am battling with. I was under NO circumstances going to have a hysterectomy, as the prior 4 urged me to do. I was hoping that Dr. Quartell could perform a myomectomy to alleviate my symptoms. He has been the ONLY doctor that was honest and flat out told me he could not perform my surgery, but referred me to someone who could. He said "youre entitled to get the surgery and results you want." Thank you Dr. Quartell for answering ALL of my questions with patience and honesty. If you see yourself battling fibroids contact The HERS Foundation - they offer a ton of advice to women and really educated me about the horrors that come with a hysterectomy. 98% of women who have this surgery DO NOT need it. Educate yourself, and save your uterus - it is a LIFELONG organ that you need. Unless you have cancer - DO NOT GET A HYSTERECTOMY.

This place is absolutely terrible. First off, their staff needs an attitude check. The woman Shelly at the front desk is extremely unprofessional and seems as if she has no customer service skills whatsoever. Very unorganized and definitely do not have any structure. Every time you head in for an appointment be prepared to wait at least an hour after your scheduled time. Stay away from here.

Im so happy I was referred here. Dr. Quartell and his staff were all really helpful and informative and Im really impressed with the size of my surgical scars, they are so small!!!!!!!
