Dont Go to this place! They are THIEVES and they do TERRIBLE WORK! My wife and I both decided to go to Arverne dental because we live close by. My first impression of the place was a good one. The staff seamed nice but after my first visit, (for a root canal) they ground away so much of my tooth that after it was done, my tooth felt like I could no longer chew anything mildly tough. On top of that, they were Constantly trying to get me and my wife to purchase things that I really didnt need(water pick tooth brushes, deep cleanings, etc) My wife went there for a filling and the dentist working on her gouged the inside of her cheek accidentally and the filling that was put in had to be redone by another dentist(in a different dentist office)because it was faulty. BUT THATS NOT THE WORST!! My wife returned to them to have the filling that they put in fixed and then they told her that she had to pay $140.00 because the rates on our insurance went up. When my wife paid and came home and told me this, I immediately called my insurance company. They told me that we should have been charged $60.00!! So, I called back Arverne dental and then they told me that the reason they charged the extra money is because I missed an appointment and they charge a 50.00 fee!!? I told them that I NEVER missed an appointment and went back and forth with the guy in charge of billing until he agreed to refund the money, but only after he got paid from my insurance. My insurance company(Empire BCBS) said they Never heard of any dentist asking to wait to be paid from them first because the work was already covered so they would definitely be getting paid. Anyway, I waited for them to get paid and when I called back asking for my refund, they said there wont be one! I am now in the process of taking these crooks to court! Trust me, I NEVER write reviews but these crooks need to be stopped! I wouldnt send my worse enemy to these people. The dental work is Terrible and on top of that, they are crooks. If there was a way to give Zero stars, I wouldve used it! STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE!

I have been going to Dr. Tafts office for several years now and have not had any problems with them. The entire staff is very friendly and efficient. Dr. Taft always explains what is being done and why. She offers economical solutions first before going directly to the most costly option. She cares about her patients. I love that they have modern dental equipment. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Taft to friends and family. Thank you Arverne Dental!

I received the flyer in the mail for Arverne Dental and I am glad that I did not throw it out but actually called to make an appointment. The service provided by Dr. Taft and her team is of the best, everyone was very courteous and professional and made me feel quite relaxed during the entire time I was there.The office is very clean with state-of-the-art equipments, I would definitely be recommending this facility to my friends.

I am long time going to Dr Taft and love it, if you can say this about going to dentist... the office very clean and well organized. They are located just one block from subway which is great. They are very accommodating with schedule. But the most important doctor has a lot of patience and great skills. After we start going to Dr Luba my daughter actually stop fighting me every time we need to go to dentist!

The office is also managed very well. Arverne dental is the BEST dental office in Queens hands down for the whole family.

I have been coming here with my sons for almost 4 years and the care is excellent. Dr. Taft takes her time to discuss procedures. The office staff call and follow up after appointments to see how you are doing. Everyone here cares. Once I had an emergency and I was able to see Dr. Taft the same day.
