I went today to get a back tooth extraction, recommended by my dentist, I was very nervous to do so, but when I went in the back for the procedure...everyone was soooo friendly & reassured me that , I will be fine! I decided not to get sedated, I stayed fully awake! My surgeon had my tooth out so fast, I had to ask was it over! The assistant to the doctor was awesome. full of smiles! If u dont pick this Dentistry service...whether extraction or regular service, u have lost ur mind! Lol! Recommend totally! I switched my dentist to them...I made a great choice ! Best wishes!

I went to the Canarsie Family Dentistry to get a regular cleaning today (2/18/2015). The main dentist there, Koorosh Shamtoub, refused to do a regular cleaning because I needed a "deep clean." The deep clean costs $240. The logic of this dentist was that no clean was better than a regular clean. I am very disappointed that this dental firm is more concerned with making money off of its clients instead of providing dental service to their customers. I usually do not leave reviews, but I want to make sure no one wastes their time going to this dental firm.

NO STARS DISGUSTING OFFICE I WORKED THERE FOR 1 DAY AND NEVER RETURNED THEY HAD NO SMALL GLOVES OR PAPER TOWELS VERY LOW STOCK ON EVERYTHING THE PERSON THAT WAS HELPING/TRAINING ME DIDNT EVEN SPEAK ENGLISH. THEY USE THE SAME XRAY FILM LOCATOR FOR EVERY PATIENT THAT WALKS IN THE OFFICE AND THEY DONT EVEN WIPE IT WITH A CAVI WIPE. :( I WAS TOLD I WOULD GET YELLED AT IF I WIPED DOWN THE XRAY SENSOR. I DONT FEEL COMFORTABLE WORKING AT A PLACE WHERE MY PATIENTS ARE AT RISK SO I DIDNT GO BACK. THEY NEED TO BE SHUT DOWN FOREAL

Its actually quite sad to set up an appointment just to take off get to the facility , the door was locked and a cleaner in the building told us the staff left for the day. Not only did a staff member speak to us earlier that day but it was stated the appointment was confirmed .Aside from this the staff is not consistent with its professionalism and can get quite rude at times. They have lost 2 patients and dont even seem to care. Good day Canarsie Dental !

Came in and needed a root canal to be done I was in so much pain . Now I was expecting them to take some x-rays and for the dentist to look at them and then give me an appointment to come in another day to have it done but to my surprised when I asked him when can you start on my root canal he said today and I am still sore from it but my tooth feel so much better the service was excellent the wait was a little long but well worth it

I was extremely nervous about my impending extraction however my fears were soon put to rest. The receptionist was polite, professional and caring. The dental assistant was calming and reaasuring and the dentist Dr. Tofigh was fantastic. My extraction was quick and painless...in fact I had no idea the whole thing was over until he showed me my tooth. Also..if you need to have your teeth cleaned ask for Jo. She is thorough but gentle.

The staff is very unfriendly and rude. They are not willing to HELP and I will not return here. I had an emergency and rather than help they yelling an made a scene. A wisdom tooth caused my ear to bleed and I was in horrible pain. My regular dentist was not open I was told to come here by the insurance co. but rather then call to confirm the booted me out. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE

Had an 11:30 appointment didnt leave till 1:30, not till they told me my insurance isnt accepted there. Wouldnt you check my insurance as soon as I walk in? To make sure nobodys time is wasted? But over there time isnt as valuable and Im truly disappointed and frustrated. Being nice by giving an extra star because one of the ladies at the desk was polite and helpful

Even though my appointment was at 10am and got there at 9:43am, and was seen at 11 something, I would still recommend this office because the staff was professional and the office is now diverse from the first time I visited, so my family and myself will be going back.

The services are good. Dr. Ben is the best! He is great,friendly, professional and makes his patient comfortable. He has done several root canals for me ...all without pain or problems. I would definitely recommend recommend him and Canarsie Family Dentistry .

First visit, but it was so smooth. The receptionist was very welcoming and when Dr.Blair came in, it was like a breath of fresh air. She had a big smile and a beautiful young spirit. We will return for an extraction in two weeks. I will update my comment then.

I and the dentist have been rescheduling often. But when we finally establish an appointment which I took the day off. I came to the office by 1130am for a 12pm appointment. I was told at 1215pm that she had an emergency, I had to reschedule. Go Figure!
