I came here 2 years ago and had a 9 am appointment to see Dr.Eliot. I am someone who likes to be very punctual because I respect peoples time so I got there at 8:50. When I entered the facility it was clean and very professional. The pictures of people posted on the wall were very versatile and it made me comfortable that Dr. Eliot can cater to all skin types. I filled out my new patient form and by 9:05 I was ready to be seen. To make a long story short, I was not seen until 12pm. Between 11am and the time I was seen, the office became flooded with patients, including me, and some people had to stand up. When the doctor finally saw me and I went into his office, I was only there for 5 minutes and left. This disgusted me. Not because I felt that he didnt give me a proper amount of time to assess my skin issues, but because at that point I realized that he is a man who does not take much time with his patients at all. Within the 3 hours he could have seen at least 12 people and sent them on their way. I used to work for a doctor and witnessed it first hand why patients waited in the lobby for so long. The doctor would see 1 to 2 people every hour and in between that time he was in his office on Facebook (or some other social media site), on the phone, having lunch with his colleagues, or just in his chair starring into space. My co-workers and I would go home late every night due to this. There was one afternoon where a very patient young man waited in the lobby for 2 WHOLE HOURS. He was literally the only person in the lobby the entire time. The doctor knew this but remained in his office doing absolutely nothing. I called his office from the front desk numerous times informing him that this man was ready to see him. Finally I became frustrated for the man and got up to go into his office to see why in the world he had him waiting for so long. When I opened the door I saw him trying to quickly minimize the screen and caught a glimpse of this dating site. When he finally felt like seeing the patient it only took 15 minutes and the patient was out of the office. Needless to say, once I was able to observe this and came to see Dr. Eliot, I was furious to wait for 3 hours when I was one of the first few people waiting at the time the clinic opened. I have never gone back since then and is actively searching for another dermatologist who has respect for others. I am very big on time and respect and will only go through this ONE time with a doctor to make a decision on whether or not I will be going back to them.

My experience with Dr. Ghatan was great! He helped me tremendously. For all of my life every winter I suffered from severe dry skin on my hands. After trying every cream without any success as well as going to my primary care physician and being told there is nothing we can give you. I finally went to Dr. Ghatan, and I knew how good he was because I used him for my acne with pretty good results.. Dr Ghatan did not brush off my suffering on my hands.. he gave me steroid shots as well as a prescribed cream and recommended Theraplex. His expertise in knowing what to do with my hands has helped me greatly, since then my hands are as smooth as they are in the summer and I feel great! No longer am I dealing with bloody oozing painful hands. Additionally, not only does Dr. Ghatan know what to do but his bedside manners are truly amazing. He made me feel at ease in his office and takes the time to talk to his patients as individuals and does not regard them as just another patient. I highly recommend Dr. Ghatan for any dermatological needs.

This is the second time I came to this office and the first time was not seen because after waiting over 2 hours in the waiting room I left. Over a year later I decided to give this dr. a second try. After waiting for over an hour and a half in the waiting area and using the bathroom that was not at all in sanitary condition, i was led to a room where i waited another half an hour. The dr did not close doors to the other rooms while with patients and the walls are paper thin so I was able to hear everything that went on including all their medical problems. Finally after over 2 hours of waiting the dr came in and when i told him my concerns with my skin and mild acne he didnt even come close to taking a look at it. He just nodded his head. This dr. did not explain anything or help me at all with any of my medical concerns. I told him I came for a regular check up and he didnt do anything. would never go back.

Dr. Ghatan has the worst bedside manner I have ever encountered in a doctor. He hardly makes eye contact and turns his back against me to look at his computer while he asks "what can i do for you" in a very monotone, indifferent voice when he first walks into the examining room. His examinination consisted of looking at my rash from 4 feet away and immediately jumping to the conclusion that I have eczema without even taking a subjective history. He then rushed to give me some anti-inflammatory shot while standing up without even prepping my skin with alcohol. Then he proceeds to sit back down, turning away from me again to read some journal article on his computer. The entire encounter lasted 2 minutes, meanwhile I waited over an hour to see him. He comes across as very uncaring, unprofessional, and indifferent towards his patients. I would never recommend him to anyone who has a real dermatological concern.

Simply Barbaric. This bastard is the absolute worst Dr of less of I have ever had to deal with. I came in with a wort and he asked me if i wanted it removed. I said yes and that is where my hell started. He told me out of a regular chair to stand up and pull my shirt up and i did so. he then told me to pull my skin tight around that wort. That is when he grabed a small scissors cleaed it with a alcohal swab and and butchered me by cutting the wort right off. No - he did not clean the area; did not have me sit on a table or give me any anisthetic. He then pored this liquid i a dixie cup and with a long q tip, dipped it in it and pressed it against the incision which burned like all hell. God bless you if you see this doctor.

The staff and receptionist are down right disrespectful when you attempt to make an appointment. I called to try and make an appoint and explain the insurance I had and the receptionist went on a rant about my insurance, then put me on a 5 minute hold. Upon returning he proceed to talk over me and tell me incorrect information about insurance which i know is valid. Had the person been respectful I had no issue in simply paying CASH for a doctors visit. How hard of a concept is it in explaining that the visit may need to be paid by myself the patient because the insurance is no longer accepted, instead of ranting and being belligerent to a customer.
