Dr. Szacki is by far the most professional, experienced, compassionate, and loving vet I have ever had the pleasure of working with. I lived in the same building where the office was located and decided to switch to Dr. Szacki because of our first visit. That was roughly 5 years ago and I would never change a thing. Her and the staff here are absolutely amazing. My senior Siberian Husky had several health issues from skin infections, tumors, arthritis, and thyroid complications among other things. When other vets said my dog only had a short period of time due to his health problems, I went to see Dr. Szacki for a second opinion and she not only eased my level of concern, but extended my dogs life another 5 years. From diet changes, surgeries, proper medication, and after care treatment, Dr. Szacki showed true expertise in her field. Just recently, Monday June 13th, 2016, my baby boy had to be put to rest due to health complications. Dr. Szacki and her staff was attentive, caring, comforting, and beyond professional. She walked me through the full procedure and ensured a peaceful journey. She even cried with me. As difficult as it was, I would have never gotten through it if it wasnt for her. If you are looking for a professional, experienced, loving, caring, and compassionate vetinarian, dont look any further. I promise you - her and her team are angels in disguise.

I wish I could give a 10 star review! I can say that without a doubt, Park Slope Veterinary Center is THE BEST practice Ive ever been to. Though Ive only had my first visit, I know I will be bringing my pets here for as long as I can! From the moment I scheduled an appointment, walked through the door, filled out paper work, met with the vet tech, Victoria, met with Dr. Hildenbrand, and paid for my visit, I was treated with respect, a smile, and I NEVER WAS RUSHED (huge gold star for that)!! Dr. Hildenbrand is AWESOME and was so amazing at handling my cat. From her calm and genuine demeanor I sensed that she truly cares and wants the best for my pet. She answered all of the questions I had without making me feel like I was taking up her time. Unlike other veterinary hospitals in the area, PSVC didnt give her vaccinations she already had (yikes)! They made me feel so welcomed, comfortable, and at ease. They were honest, efficient, genuine, knowledgeable, and positive! What more could you ask for a Vet and their staff?! Thank you PSVC--you totally made mine and my pets week! We are so grateful to have found you!! Keep up the great service!!

This was, hands down, the best veterinary experience Ive had in the decades that Ive been a pet owner. The receptionist was friendly, and Dr. Szacki was incredibly warm, insightful, and genuinely cared about my cats well being. She showed me exactly how to care for his teeth, something that other vets had never taken the time to do. She talked me through every detail with care, and was incredibly sweet with my cat. I never once felt rushed or uncomfortable, and she certainly didnt gouge me with unnecessary and expensive fees like many veterinary offices will do. Dr. Szacki is a consummate professional with a good heart, and I will absolutely continue to patronize Park Slope Veterinary Center for many years to come. Absolutely the best.

Found Park Slope Vet just by frequently driving by. Lost my beloved yourkie 2 days prior and immediately felt warmth, caring and compassion. Dr Hildenbrand answered all questions about my beloved yourkie that my previous vet shouldve done. Had labs done on my Pom just to make sure that the same fate didnt fall on her, she called me the same evening with good blood results and it was like a weight was lifted. Oh and by the way Dr Hildenbrand was soo good, my baby didnt act like a deranged animal like she did with Dr nasr, always listen to cues people...sadly l learned this lesson at the expense of my yourkie. I love this place. Will continue to bring all my pets here. Thank you Dr Hildenbrand.

Simply the best experience we have ever had with a veterinarian. Dr. Hildenbrand is incredible. We have lived everywhere from LA to DC, and had access to some of the best vets in the areas, but she by far has surpassed them all. I simply do not know how she does it. Not only do our pets (aka our children) receive exceptional care during the visit, she always calls to follow up and always makes herself available to personally return our phone calls anytime we have a question. My partner and I often joke that if ever we had to leave Brooklyn that we would take her with us as our personal vet. I cannot recommend Dr. Hildenbrand and Park Slope Veterinary center enough!

100% highly recommend this vet!!! Dr. Szacki is SO amazing with my dog, its obvious she truly loves animals and is the only vet Ive been to in the city thats knowledgable about specific breeds. (I have an italian greyhound and Dr. Szacki is so sweet with her!) Not only is the entire staff kind the whole experience here is stress free -- Theres never a long wait, they never overcharge and Dr. Szacki doesnt give your dog anything thats unnecessary. At other vets they charge hundreds for simple things and try to push things that your dog doesnt actually need for more money. I would recommend this vet whether you live nearby not, its that great!

This is the best vet I have been to in Brooklyn (and anywhere). Having tried three other vets for a difficult cat with a number of chronic problems, I finally found Park Slope Veterinary Center. They can quickly schedule appointments; they are great with my hissing, clawing, 3-legged cat; they tell you all of your options and are very helpful at discussing financial concerns; and they dont insist on unnecessary or excessive care. Just today, I called them last minute to get a prescription for my cat for traveling, and they had it ready within 15 minutes.

The worst experience ever! The vet here is money hungry and will bill you something completely different from what was told to you. There are ridiculous hidden charges and then they can care less when it is brought up. The way they handled my dog in the visit after I brought it up was HORRIBLE. There was no care for my dog. I would recommend that any animal lover not go here. She is a monster with a uniform on! You have been warned.

Dr. Szacki has been honored by Brooklyn Animal Action, a local animal rescue group. We met her there and she has cared for both our pets and some of the stray cats we have found and gotten forever homes for. She is an excellent veterinarian, from both technical and bedside aspects. I cant say enough about her philanthropy and her skills. Please go see her and keep her office as busy as possible. She deserves it.

Dr. Szacki is the best. Before we adopted our cat he was in rough shape and she quite literally saved his life. We adopted him afterwards, and shes been wonderful and has followed up regularly. She cares very much for the animals in her care. I cant recommend Park Slope Veterinary Center enough.

These people tried to get rid of a rescue cat to us by lying and saying it was healthy when it clearly was not. We couldnt take care of the cat so we brought it back. We also caught them lying about the health of the cat when we brought it back. Beware!
