The worth place to bring your pets to!!! I brought my dog to this vet. She had cough and snotty nose. The doc. Olga Korobkova gave her some sort of antibiotics. We was giving it to our dog for a week. It didnt help at all. She still had Same thing cough and snotty nose. we came back after a week. I explained to other doc. Anna Bernstein everything and she said she gonna give her another antibiotics which are stronger. That didnt help either. The medical personal in this Veterinary is inexperienced and young. After I googled the medication we was giving to our dog we discovered that it is just a general antibiotics, like from everything, but not exactly aimed to cure the cough and running nose only. So they gave it to her just as a shot as maybe it will help. Very terrible pets medics. I had an experience 4 years ago with the different VET and my other dog Labrador who has also very bad cough. That Doc. was giving him some sort of injection every day during the week. My dog was cured on the third day. I STRONGLY SUGGEST YOU NOT TO GO TO THIS VETERINARY EVER. I also asked doc. Olga Korobkova if my cats can catch the bacteria from a dog and if I should isolate my cats from the dog. She said that cats dont get infection from dogs, that cats is absolutely different. So I listen and trusted to the doc. Olga Korobkova, like we should trust all doctors, they were tough to cure animals. Now I have both my cats sneezing and one of them already lost appetite. THANK YOU DOCTORS! This quote is from one website "Bordetella bronchiseptica is a bacterium commonly associated with respiratory disease in dogs. It can also infect cats, rabbits and, in rare cases, humans." SO I STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND YOU TO GO TO THIS VETERINARY EVER!!!! I have 8 friends who goes to the same VET after I told them that story they said they will never go back there with their pets. I will also write same review in every VET search, so more people will know how bad this place is. They just wants you to come back to rip you off but not to cure your pet!

The girls on the phone need to understand how to be professional. I didnt even go to the doctor because the girls on the phone were so rude and disgusting I couldnt even imagine how the doctors might be. I called to make an appointment (even after I got some estimates for prices that were higher than other clinics) gave the girl my dogs name three times because she said she couldnt hear me, and she then proceeded to ask me "If I can let her know when i had decided a name for my dog yet" in a nasty way. Are you kidding me? She straight out was insulting me and she didnt care. Really made me want to go over there an give her a piece of my mind. How can you be so unprofessional and not only that but rude and disrespectful towards another person. Besides that, I asked for an approximate amount to how much it would cost to neuter my dog and got an INSANE number. I had already done research and knew that my dog would have to have a specific type of neuter because he has only one testicle that came down and I called a bunch of clinics in the area. I got a quote close to 800 dollars. I got another quote from a different clinic for a maximum of 515 and that included EVERYTHING. They were saying that 795 was the absolute minimum and that didnt include any medicines or anything. There are better and more reasonably priced vets than this place. Shame on those receptionists.

Five stars for dedication, five stars for knowledge, five stars for friendliness, five stars for a clean office, and five stars for the experience … every time I visit Sheepshead Bay Vet Group . The office is very modern and clean and has all the necessary diagnostic equipment; all tests are done on premises, which is convenient for the patients. Nurses, receptionists and all stuff are extremely friendly. I am happy I have trusted doctors who I can depend on. I brought my two-month-old puppy for his very first visit to a vet. That was more than ten years ago, and all these years my dog’s primary (and till a couple of years ago only) vet is Dr. Sheynberg. During these years Dr. Sheynberg and later Dr.Olga always helped my Dreamer to be in his best health. About two year ago my dog got very ill. I called Sheepshead Bay Vet Group, and even though I got to the office after hours, Dr. Sheynberg was waiting for me. He did all the tests and admitted my dog to the on-site hospital. For the next two weeks Dr. Sheynberg, Dr.Olga and the whole staff fought for my dog’s life. My whole family is very grateful to these two dedicated doctors and to the excellent staff who did so much to help my not-so-young-puppy fight his disease.

I just adopted a little kitten three days ago and although I was weary of coming to this vet because of the reviews I did anyway out of pure convenience. I found the staff to be extremely friendly and helpful. I guess the woman who everyone was complaining about either no longer works there or was not in. I called in at 10am when they opened and got an appointment for 11:30. The woman I spoke to was very polite although I was put on hold for about three minutes. When we arrived the was a wait (about 20 min) there were several other people waiting to be seen. The facilities are modern and clean, which in my opinion is excellent seeing how this is a place for potentially sick animals. The doctor I saw, Yakov Sheynberg, was friendly and straight to the point which I liked. He explained how to care for her and offered some advice. I would not describe him as the warmest person towards humans but he was very gentle and sweet to out kitten. I would just beware of leaving there with products you dont need. Ask the staff and the doctor to be clear on the services rendered and their costs. All in all I had a good experience and will be returning until that changes.

I have been using this vet clinic for several years and have always had a positive experience. The receptionists and assistants are always courteous, pleasant, and very sweet to both me and my dog. All of the vets have been great with my dog but my favorite is Dr. Sheynberg. He has assisted me and my dog through some scary times. The doctor and his assistants performed cryogenic surgery to remove a growth off my dog and we had to visit the office several times in a short span; Dr. Sheynberg always saw us quickly, provided me with knowledge and several alternatives for treatment, and interacted professionally with me yet playfully with my dog. I know my dog will have knee problems in the future and I trust Dr. Sheynberg to work with us through treatment. I recommend this vet clinic to everyone I know with a pet. They even have grooming available on-site, which I have also been using for several years. It speaks to the quality of service provided by the Sheepshead Bay Veterinary Group that I have been going there for several years for grooming, annual check-ups, teeth cleaning, and medical issues, and I have not had a negative experience yet.
