My daughter has beautiful, straight teeth (although misaligned) so I didnt want her to get braces in the worst way. I went for five different consultations with five different professionals, and I decided to go with Dr. Mateer. It was the best decision by far. He explained exactly why she needed braces in a clear, concise manner. He has state-of-the-art equipment. His office is beautiful and clean. His staff is just terrific - very friendly and knowledgeable. My daughter is about half way through with the treatment plan, and so far, everything is moving along as scheduled.  I also took my younger daughter in for a consultation because a couple of her teeth are a little crooked. He reassured me that when her adult teeth come in, the teeth will probably straighten out on their own, but he will check her periodically.  I was especially impressed with that because he could have tried to talk me into braces for her and doubled his money, but he didnt just try to drum up business. My son, who is out of braces and only wearing a retainer at night, broke his retainer and needed a new one. His orthodontist was unable to see him for weeks, but Dr. Mateer did it in one day! (My son didnt go to Dr. Mateer originally because Dr. Mateer didnt have an office in the area when my son needed braces). He is a single practitioner so he is the only orthodontist that youll see. Unlike other offices with multiple doctors, you dont have to bring him up to speed since hes the only one whos worked on your child.  You can also text him directly if his office is closed. Ive texted him a couple of times and hes very responsive. The best part is that he is a super nice guy and my daughter really likes him. You will not go wrong if you use Dr. Mateer!

I have been to tons of different orthodontics office because I move for work but I can say that this was hands down the nicest one I have ever been to. They have a huge flat screen tv and I pad stations like you would see in airports. They could have had me waiting for hours and it would feel like minutes because you are so pre-occupied with the comfortability of the office. Now I didnt have my kids with me but when I was in the office there was 2 families waiting with me. You would not be able to tell that there were kids in the office because they made no sounds as they played with the Ipad station. As a parent that is a benefit you cannot put a price on. The front desk greeted me with a smile and could not be any more friendly. They all have great personalities and once again added to my comfortability walking into a new office. It seemed way too good to be true so I figured they put this front to make up for their service. Then I met with Scott Mateer. And that could not be farther from the truth. He was very informative and entertaining at the same time. He advised me to get invisalign and It has worked exactly how he said it would. I could not be happier with the result I have seen these past couple of months. My advice to people who read this: If you do not have an orthodontist you need go see Scott. If you have an orthodontist you still need to go see Scott because it is night and day between him and other orthodontist in the area.

I have to say, I couldnt be happier with our experience with Mateer Orthodontics. It was clear that my 9 year old needed braces. I had gathered several referrals from friends, who have recently been through it with their kids, with the intention to get a few consultations and then decide. Dr. Mateer happened to be the last referral that I received, and being that he was the most conveniently located to us I decided to try him first. Well long story short, we knew before we even finished the exam that he was our choice. He could see that my daughter was very apprehensive about the whole process and explained EVERYTHING to her directly which eased her anxiety. We set our appointment on the spot. His office is beautiful and has all the latest technology. Dr. Mateer and his staff are wonderful. So friendly and inviting. He treats each patient as if they were his only patient. My daughter and I actually look forward to her visits. She really feels "important" when she walks into his office. From signing herself in on the iPad, to the high fives she always receives from him, to him understanding just how "crucial" the right color rubber bands can be ;) Now my younger daughter cant wait until she can get braces. I cant say enough about Mateer Orthodontics. We have had such a wonderful experience with them. I would HIGHLY recommend them to everyone needing his services...both children and adults.

I could not think of any other Orthodontist besides Dr.Mateer. He is very informative and friendly. He makes sure to explain your childrens needs in a simple way to make sure it is easy to understand. He will take the time to get to know the children and make sure they are comfortable before starting any treatment. The office is so clean and the staff is so friendly! Like most adults, I have had braces as a teenager and stopped wearing my retainer. My teeth shifted and bite went back to how it used to be. I went into Mateer orthodontics and inquired about Invisalign. Dr.Mateer went over every detail and answered any question I had at the initial consultation. I began treatment here about 4 months ago and I could not be any happier!! I would recommend this office to anyone looking for an orthodontist either for their children or for themselves!

I highly recommend Dr. Mateer. Dr. Mateer AND his staff are so nice. The day of my sons consultation appointment everything was explained and not only did Dr. Mateer speak to me he also spoke directly to my son. My son was included in the consultation. Most times when we go to appointments my son is spoken about in front of him and never included in the conversation. Dr. Mateer was upfront about the cost. I never felt any pressure to sign papers immediately, although I did because thats how happy I was immediately. When my son first got his braces on, Dr. Mateer himself called to see how my son was doing. Anytime my son has had any issue Dr. Mateers office gets us in ASAP. I can not say enough good things about Dr. Mateer and his staff.

Hands down, he is the best orthodontist by far. The office is super clean, his staff is so friendly and accommodating. You never have to wait for your appointment. He is kind, and wonderful with kids. His prices are reasonable, and honest. He truly cares for his patients. When my son had problems with his pallet expander he took the time on his day off (and after hours) to come to the office to help him. Not many dentists out there that would do that. My daughter goes to him as well for her braces, and she loves him. He gives incentives for good brushing. Brush well , take a shot at door basketball and win a free tv. Ds. Mateer is the best of the best!!!!

Dr. Mateer is the best. He is so good with my kids, they love going to his office. The staff is wonderful and the office is so clean and new. He has the newest technology and is so knowledgeable and professional. He explains everything he is doing and why he is doing it. He truely cares about his patients, my daughter had a problem on a sunday and he texted right back, and had her come in the next morning. Its such a pleasure to go there. I recommend him to all my friends!
