Thoroughly satisfied! Following a rear-end collision earlier this year, I found myself in need of a qualified and competent chiropractor. A long-time Long Island resident, I referred to the "Best of Long Island" awards while searching for a doctor who met my needs. When choosing medical professionals, personality and bed-side manner is important to me; I like to feel comfortable with my doctors! From the moment I initiated contact with the office, I was met with convenience and pure professionalism. All the new-patient paperwork was available for me to complete and submit digitally, the waiting room was Wi-Fi enabled, and the doctor was able to see me the same day. I explained the details of the accident and described the type of pain I was experiencing, before receiving a comprehensive physical examination and a set of x-rays. We examined my x-rays together, Dr. Wider explaining his findings in patient-friendly, understandable terms the whole way through. That very first day, Dr. Wider performed an adjustment and I began to experience some relief. I went home that day with a wrap-around lumbar support brace, an extra large lower back ice back, and a wrap-around neck ice pack with protective sleeve. (The ice packs can also be warmed and used as heat packs as well). Not only did I have these tools to help aid I my recovery, I also had a great feeling about the experience Id had there. At my next visit, I met the practices namesake, Dr. Priestley. He took the time to chat with me about my accident and my pain, despite the information being present in my medical file. He provided me with several exercises and stretches that I could do at home between office visits. Not only did he provide me with an instruction card with photographic and written directions, he got down on the mats and demonstrated exactly how to do them while guiding me through the series personally. I would recommend Priestley Chiropractic to anyone suffering from any sort of back pain. I look forward to an ongoing working with Dr. Priestley and all the members of the Priestley Chiropractic team. A+!

My Son who is 8 years old and has autism, has been going to Dr. Priestley for over a year. We first went to him as a experience and my desperation as my Son was having urine accidents. My Son does not adapt well to new places and new people at all. I called the first day to ask a question and Dr. Priestley got on the phone with me and talk to me and gave me an appointment and a time we can go when it was not crowded to make it easier for my Son. when I walked in it was the most welcoming enviroment, kindness office, sweet, loving Dr. Ive ever been seen by. He explained everything to me. His staff, especially Victoria have been nothing but, kind, loving supportive with excellent bed side manner. It was very hard for my Son to sit there and get Adjusted, but with Dr. Priestleys kind words and never giving up on him he made it happen. Since my Sons accidents are non existent now and my Son loves going to the office and each time it gets easier and easier for him to get adjusted. my son loves it and walks out of there like a different relaxed kid. Thank you Dr. Priestley for always having a kind word, thanks for taking care of my Son and for giving my Son hugs and making it so comfortable for Anthony. you are truly a blessing to us. Anthony loves you and your staff. you are all one of the nicest, kindess and professional people we have come accross. Thanks for making my Son feel better everytime we go and taking the time and patience and you are truyly very sensitive to our situation. thanks for all your help. You truly go above and beyond. I would recommend Priestley Chiropractic to anyone looking for the best in chiropractic care. I was seeing another Long Island chiropractor who I was very happy with except for her location. One day when I was in need of an immediate adjustment I asked a colleague, a long time Farmingdale resident, for a local recommendation. She suggested Dr. Priestleys office. I was able to make a same day appointment and the consultation was extremely thorough and professional. The office, located in downtown Farmingdale in a lovely old home, is both state of the art and inviting and warm. The staff is very friendly and Dr. Priestly has an excellent "bedside manner." My x-rays were taken during consultation (in the office-another big plus!) and Dr. Priestly and Wider both were friendly and knowledgable. Additionally, the office has a clear holistic emphasis and promotes healthy lifestyles. Thanks to Dr. Priestleys encouragement I attended the free summer Boot Camp classes co-sponsered by Priestley Chiropractic and subsequently joined a RunCore program I learned about during an office visit. In addition to a successful chiropractic treatment program, at the time of this review I have lost over 18 pounds and am looking to continue a healthier lifestyle. I credit Dr. Priestley with support and encouragement during this process. I strongly recommend Priestley Chiropractic as a provider of excellent care and an essential part of a healthy, holistic wellness lifestyle.

I have experienced neck and lower back pain for years and although I had considered going to a chiropractor, I did not feel very confident--not knowing their medical training etc..... Finally I was disabled with back pain last week and after the 4th day I knew that I had to do something so I did not think I had anything to lose at that point. I called Dr. Priestleys office and was relieved to get an appointment the very next day. I was feeling a bit better the next day, but thought that I wanted to see once and for all what a chiropractor did and if it would help. Well, from the very beginning, I was thrilled with both Dr. Wider and the results. I felt alot better after the first exam and realized that alot of my other assorted pain was related to the back and neck issues that I was having (numbness etc...) . I have had three adjustments and I can tell that the range on motion of my neck has improved dramatically and my back pain has been improving daily. This is some difference from last week when it took me over an hour just to get out of bed! I am a convert and would recommend this practice to anyone.

Dr. Priestley is THE BEST. First thing that is important to mention, (especially when you cant easily get up and out of a chair) is he will somehow fit you in on a moments notice. He is prepared, organized and has this cool scanning system where you scan a card avoiding any sign in sheet. You get to see your chart in your room and he explains everything. (I always wondered about those charts). Hes patient, informative and makes sure all questions are answered. His resume keeps growing with the time and goodness he contributes to the communities around. Its impressive to have an example of how to live a healthier life from a great old time fit and fun family doctor who really cares. We couldnt possibly write a full review without kudos to his staff along with Dr. Chris Wider especially. They are wonderful and make you feel good too. Feel better, get fit, lose some weight and move on with your life as youd like it to be.
