I went to Dr Varma today unable to walk. He told me I can go to Jericho three weeks from now to get a epidural. When I went up front to schedule the receptionist told me she had to set 4 appointments because of my insurance. I went back to the dr and told him he should have told me that. I cant drive in this pain to li 4 times. His response was Im probably not the right dr for you. I said I agree. Just give me time to find another dr. He said no if you leave you leave now. It must be nice to feel like you have a power over people in pain. Imagine a professional, a dr omitting information to a patient and then when you call him out on it he tells you to get someone else. As far as the ladies of the office I have nothing but the nicest things to say. Very compassionate. They were more concerned with the pain I was in then the dr. Thank you Christine and all the ladies in the office.

i am a 31yr old woman who was i n a bad car accident and i was sent for test by this doctor to find out my back is badly injured. His very unprofessional staff not only unhelpful but cursed at me because i have anxiety disorder and they caused a panic attack which the doctor further yelled at me for instead of the staff. And yesterday june 20th 2015 he came in the office with an attitude and yelling at me am I going to behave or he wont treat me as i was being calm he kept yelling in m face and caused a 2nd a might i add worse panic attack that caused my 65r old mom to also have an anxiety attack from watching him scream at me and was even rude to her when she tried defending me. i dont recommend going to him because not only is he disrespectful but he defends his staffs offensive behavior. i will be seeking legal action.

He sucks....he is the worst doctor in New York I dont even know how he got his license as neurologist because he doesnt even know how to speak in english... Do not even call to get an appoinment, he even charged me $140 dollars for nothing and he sent me to an office for collection (International Recovery Associates Inc.) To make me pay for what he had never done. Worst costumer service. If you want to get benefits for disability all you life, he signed every paper which is disrespectful for people who needs to work.

He is really good at his work ,he trys his best to treat the patient.his really straight forward but I think its fine we are not only one whos going there he sees so many people in one day so fair enough, yep and his having big staff to look after you ,one on reception for only calls and appointments ,one to scout you from one room to another and then there is always a one assistant with dr.verma .last but not the least only thing I hate is waiting,waiting Is long but everything else awesome .

Dr. Varna is the best Neuro Pain Mgnt Doctor ever!! I have known him forcover five years. Dr. Varma is a caring, understanding, and most of all a gift in his field of work. I have recommended my friends to him, they are grateful. A doctor is not going to tell you what you want to hear all the time, but he will inform you what is best! Worst Doctors manners even seen in a doctor.Will never go back to his office he is unprofessional rude and does not listen to his patients its his way or no way.I will never recommend anyone to his office.Worst bedside manners ever.He is pill pusher to the patients that dont really need it.He gives you an appointment but you are never seen at the appointment time.He made me feel like. Cattle in a barnyard.He has no empathy for patients that have mental problems.

Horrible service!!!! The staff was miserable looking, not helpful and rude. My grandmother waited 2 hours, payed a $35 copay for something that the doctor, Vikas Varma, could have told us over the phone.. HE CANT HELP US! He basically said "take some pain killers, change your insurance and then come talk to me" My grandmother has sciatica and is in an incredible amount of pain.. these people had no care for her well being at all. NEVER RETURNING.

I started seeing Dr. Varmas after my car accident, because of him, I learned that I had 3 herniated disc in my neck. The previous doctor I was seeing was useless, he wouldnt explain procedures and or the meds ... Dr. Varmas is personable, very caring and he goes above and beyond to make his patients feel safe and at ease. I highly recommend him for all your neuro care and pain management needs.

My experience with Dr. Varma who i have been seeing for over 2 years has always been very positive, the nurses and aides are always pleasant and respectful, Dr. Varma listens to what you say and never rushes you he answers questions, runs follow up tests, overall he is an excellent Doctor who cares about his patients. Very bad. I went to his office because I suffer from migraine. He prescribed me antidepressants to treat it, ( I was not depressed whatsoever) anyways he gave me the pills which were absolutely useless because I still have migraine!!! He was rude and incapable to treat the condition. Thanks for wasting my time! (4 months after all the tests he ordered).

Worst Doctor ever, when I go there I see him give people walk in get a script and leave. the office doesnt care about the patient. he ignores everything you say. he will then set up test and test then give you pain meds. they dont solve the problem they cause a lot of problems.

Dr. Varma has helped me with relieving pain in my lower back which I have had for years. Medication and injections have helped lessen the debilitating pain I am suffering. He gets straight to the point, no sugar coating and I appreciate that.
