If I could have given them negative stars I would have. They love to rack up the bill and have the nerve to have a credit card machine in the examination room. This Will clown payed more attention to creating a bill than paying attention to what we were telling him about our beloved animal`s condition. I am not certain he even heard what we were telling him. He will also take advantage of you and your credit card, creating a bogus bill (things that were not necessary and things that wern`t even done), if he sees you are distraught and shedding tears about your animal`s illness and condition. They play on your tears in my opinion. His face is buried in the computer screen seeing what else he can charge your credit card for. I truly believe this Will character is more of a thief than a vet. Be very wary about believing that he really knows how to read an x-ray properly too. Look, I could write much more in detail but my advice? Stay away from them. If you need to take your animal off hours please, for your animal`s sake, go to one of the animal emergency clinics located in the capital district area. The little extra distance will be well worth it and may save your animal`s life, I assure you. They are there 24/7, much more knowledgeable, professional, charge even less and will never leave your animal alone. By the way, our beloved companion passed away. We are so sorry that we ever took her Glove Cities Veterinary Hospital. I truly believe that the wasted time and missed diagnosis by Will had much to do with her passing.

Excellent facility, extremely clean, very professional. After losing my last husky at 4 months old to a vet in Johnstown who couldn’t even perform a spay surgery I knew I needed to find a new vet for my second puppy. This place (located in Gloversville, NY) is a night and day difference over the last vet (who is located in Johnstown, NY). When comparing the cleanliness, atmosphere, and overall facility you can’t beat this place. Great staff, Dr. Will knows his stuff. When I first brought my second puppy in they performed tests that the other vet missed. When it came time to spay her, she was in and out in the same day and recovery was quick. I’m very happy after going there for years. I give this place 5 stars and will throw in the extra 4 for the last poster for the unjust 1 star they gave for something that was their responsibility.

I just moved back to this area from out of state. I was with my previous vet for over 5 year. I asked the receptionist if they could take a payment plan because I just moved here and didnt start work until next week. She was very rude about it and said no our policy is payment upfront. (mind you this was an emergency for my cat) So I asked do you know any vets who you could recommend me to. She said no and hung up. I was like OMG are you serious? I live right around the corner from them too and now I will be traveling to Amsterdam where I got a hold of a nice vet who was willing to work with me. Thank you Glove Cities Vet for making this hard time so much easier on me and will never recommend this place to anybody!

I am very pleased with this Establishment. After multiple bad experiences with other local Veterinary hospitals I decided to give Glove cities a try. The place is very clean and professional, organized and properly staffed. Prices are pretty reasonable here in comparison to some of my previous experiences. They are a modern facility and they offer a variety of products and procedures with professional attitudes. Our pets are part of the family and I wont consider to go anywhere else from now on. I strongly recommend Glove cities, they are the best vet around.

Excellent service. Very caring. My cat had a bad toothache (I knew from her behavior). It was an upcoming weekend and I couldnt find a vet, I knew she would have to have an extraction because I took her to an emergency clinic. I called vet after vet and I would have had to wait days. They gave me an appointment on a Sunday and did the surgery the very same day. She had to have all of her teeth removed. Shes doing well and I am very grateful for their understanding to an animal who was in pain. Awesome!

Dr. Will has these arbitrary "mandatory" policies insisting on unnecessary and unwanted procedures, vaccines and blood work. I get that they have to make a living, but mandating treatment is not his job. If you refuse the "mandatory" over vaccinations, they threaten not to see your pet again. REALLY?! Dr. Sharpe is a great doctor, but stuck with his rules. Too bad.

Friendly, helpful staff. I am in town visiting and they helped me with the paperwork I needed to take my cats to an international destination. They are also my sisters vet, and she loves them. They were kind and considerate when she needed to put her young dog to sleep after they discovered raging bone cancer. Nice waiting room and facilities as well.

Excellent medical care, full service hospital. Best staff available in the area. This hospital is very clean and the service is fast and attentive. If you require best care for your pets, this is where you need to go hands down.

Open on Saturdays & Sunday. The staff are friendly and the vets seem to know what their doing. Were a real godsend when my dog collapsed.
