I rescued a feral kitten from around my neighborhood and called so many animal care places and no one was as helpful as Banfield in New Hyde Park. My experience from the first phone call explaining my situation, to leaving with a happier kitten was great.The vet, assistants, and front desk staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, supportive, and kind. They even called and ensured that my little kitten was okay. I will recommend here to everyone in need of animal care!

Dr. Israel was extremely competent, gentle and thorough in examining my cat Jasper. The staff was kind and patient with me and him through our visit. When I got very upset, I was kindly offered a comforting hug, which I accepted. Also, all procedures and their costs were discussed with me prior to executing them. This staff and doctor made a frightening experience for me and Jasper bearable and for that, I am grateful.

Told the receptionist I had another appointment and I needed to know how much longer it would be as it was 45 mins pass my appointment. She left and came back out without mentioning anything. I had called early to request the possibility of moving my appointment earlier and I received no call back. I canceled my appointment. I will no longer be taking my dog there.

Excellent. Literally the best decision I could of made for my pup was to get insirance from here. Great staff, always really friendly, honest and professional. HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend.
