Dr Dave Lester cares very much about all of his patients, and gives all of us the individual care we need to effectively get healed over the course of the plan. He is a very dedicated doctor who takes his craft very seriously. He offers no costs workshops to his patients to aid in our recovery and help us to understand how the spine works and how his chiropractic care can resolve a lot of our main issues in our body. My wife was a patient of his years ago along with her daughter, and then earlier this year when she was the victim of a car accident she started seeing him again. At first I wasnt a patient, but made it very comfortable for me as my wifes guest. I am now a patient and have been making great strides thanks to Dr. Lester. I would highly recommend him for anyone who needs chiropractic care and for any who are having other issues that may be caused by problems with the spine or neck.

I found Dr. Lester through a friend who has been seeing him for a very long time. At work, Im always sitting down at a computer, which puts a ton of strain on my back and hips. For fun, I like to do Muay Thai (Thai kickboxing), which means (yet again) more strain on the back and hips. I do a fair amount of physical therapy, and recovery work (stretching, yoga, etc), but am almost always experiencing some type of chronic pain in my lower back and hip flexor. JUST ONE VISIT with Dr. Lester cleared up a particular issue with my lower back Id been having for YEARS. I cant say enough how great he is. The office is warm, and inviting--youll see lots of families, and neighbors. It really feels like a community more than a doctors office. I love going there, and highly recommend him to anyone in the area. Hes the best chiropractor in New Paltz hands down.

Hi, my name is Kevin. I am a 52 year old construction worker. 4 years ago I shattered L5 in my back. After going to a back surgeon, they found out I had herniated disk, bulging disk, spinal stenosis, and disk disease. I tried everything, chiropractors, physical therapy, hydrotherapy, nothing worked. This winter the pain was so bad in my back I thought I would have to go out on disability. My wife wanted me to try Dr. Lester five months ago. Since then, Im back working, I can get up out of bed without my wifes help, he gave me my life back. Hes taken my pain levels from 10 to 3, something that I never thought would happen. I was introduced to David more years ago than I care to recall! He was different from any other chiropractor Ive ever gone to. His methods may seem unconventional to the regular guy in the street; but they work! When Im staying in New Jersey with my boyfriend I go to his (conventional) chiropractor if my neck has stiffened up. He hurts!!! I tense up even before hes started. He does the job but I have to keep going back three or four times. With David I just go the once and I feel good for days, sometimes weeks. So not only is his treatment painless and relaxing, but is l-a-s-t-s!!!! Hes like your favorite hairdresser - one of those treasures in life one never wants to lose.

Dr Lester is an uncommonly competent chiropractor, whose practice is holistic -- i.e. he treats and educates the whole person, not just the specific pinch. If you stick with him over a long period, you might well find yourself an inch or more taller (honest) as he unwinds the kinks. But in terms of acute pain, and we all know how debilitating sudden or chronic back problems are, Lester always sends me away in comfort, no matter how awful the pain when I arrive. I have yet to stump him with a problem outside his expertise.
