I dont understand the negative reviews. I recently had to put my 18yr. old baby down because of failing health. I was adement that she was not going to a vets office as her final goodbye. I was referred to these wonderful, caring people by a friend. I asked if they could come to my home since my baby had quickly starting failing. They walked me through the procedure on the phone and made an appointment for them to come. I cant thank them enough . They again made me aware of exactly what they would be doing and final arrangements that would follow. My baby went peacefully to the "Rainbow Bridge" with the help of Dr.B & Jay. Thank you gentlemen very much for making my baby comfortable and relaxed for her final journey. I dont know what I would have done without you. God Bless

DO NOT GO HERE! My shih tzu has kidney stones and I called them for an appointment for a second opinion. The guy who picked up was immediately rude. He told me they have to have the dogs medical history to make an appointment. I agreed and said we can bring it with us to the appointment. His response was, "NO, i wont tell you when we have an opening until we get the paperwork." After pleading with him that this is an emergency, he became aggressive and refused to let me speak to a manager, a vet, a vet assistant or any type of supervisor. He told me, "if you came here, we wouldnt see you." DO NOT GO HERE.

Dr B, Lucy and staff are amazing. I have been bringing my dogs here for over 10 years and have never had a bad experience. We even moved out of oceanside and now live in Bellmore and I still will make the trip because I dont trust anyone else. Dr B knows his stuff and is very caring and compassionate and has a connection with the animals. He has a great bedside manner. I dont understand any negative reviews, but as you all know, some people are just crazy and there are 2 sides to every story. I highly highly recommend this office!

I think Joni Davis called a wrong number. The staff and Dr.Buchalter were great with my Am Staff puppy, Mercedes. Doc spent more time during the initial visit then I ever expected. He went over everything and answered any questions we had. I am very happy with this office and cant see how anyone could say there is no contact! I have never called there and didnt get an answer or felt rushed by the desk staff.

Dr. Buchalter is a great find. He was wonderful with my two dogs. We are new to the area and my dog was ill and I cannot say enough how great the entire staff was at helping me with my sick dog. I was referred by NUMEROUS people and he did not disappoint. I HIGHLY recommend him and wish I could find a doctor who would take care of me who was as caring as Dr. B.

Dr B, and the staff is great. They are amazing at making a pet owner feeling comfortable and confident with the health of their pet. They are always available, even for the silly questions. They are willing to work with you for the best interest of your animal.

I drive here from queens because of dr B, Lucy, and the whole staff. Theyre amazing!! The last genuine vet, who works tirelessly for the health and wellness of the animals and not to make a buck. Cant say enough good things.

Rude Rude Rude... Can not convey the level of unprofessional treatment just over the phone. I cant imagine bringing my girl to them for anything. Dr Buchalter... No thank you.

Dr. Buchalter is a fantastic vet, who has an absolutely incredible way with animals. Couldnt be happier. I wish I could find a doctor for myself that I was as happy with.
