I broke a nose support on my glasses last night and called PB Eye today to see if they had any? I was told that unless the glasses were bought from them, they wouldnt help me. I tried 4 other local stores in town to see if they may have? No....only repair kits....what I need has to be bought from an eyeglass store.....and Pine Bush only has one! I then decided to go in-person to PB Eye to see if I misunderstood or was a mistake? NO! I asked politely about purchasing what I need so I can install myself? NO again! They tell me its their policy and that theyre just following orders......BUT THEN, they tell me that theyll do it for me "this one time" for $25!....ARE YOU KIDDING ME! The pieces couldnt cost more than .50 cents each and I happily would have spent a normal price (a few $ each) and done myself. I then state that theyre customer service is horrible.....with a packed waiting room of customers, who are on my side after hearing this from me! I just dont understand this policy and how it would benefit any new possible customers? I will never purchase or use the services of PB Eye.....and to be fair to them.....I have no idea of the quality of optometry they offer.....just that their policy on this and customer service is HORRIBLE! Good luck and shop local!

Went to get an eye exam with my mom. Drove separately because i was coming from school. He insisted on dialating her eyes (and that she would be fine driving home) and tried to get me to do mine. My mom couldnt see normally for a very long time, I had to drive her back to get her car later. "Free eye exam" means that theyll ask you to read letters (ignoring you saying"i cant read that" and telling you to "do your best") and charge you for tests you dont need. I was told my current glasses were fine for me. Went to Lens Crafters in the galleria and found out that with those glasses i was seeing at 20/30 vision. I am never going back there and would not recommend it to anyone.

I just read all the bad reviews and must share my completely positive experience. I have been going to Pinebush Eye Associates for years, ever since their insistence on dilating my eyes resulted in the diagnosis of severe high blood pressure. I was completely unaware of it until they found retinal bleeding through this procedure. Thank goodness they are serious and diligent about what they do! They are so much more than just a shop for glasses. Yes, if thats all you want you can go to Walmart. But if you want to protect your health, this is the place to go!

I brought my glasses to their office as the screw fell out and the ones in the eyeglass replacement kits didnt fit. They told me they could fix it but it would cost $25 since the glasses were over a year old! When I told them they were crazy, they offered to fix them for free "this time". I spent several hundred dollars on these frames. Couldnt believe they had the nerve to charge me $25 to put a screw in. How much education and training does it take to put a screw in a pair of eyeglasses? They just lost another customer.

They said they would only work on my glasses if i bought them from their, and i could get a eye exam and buy glasses and then they could work on them
