Both of my knee caps were popping for about a year - and they would ache for 2-3 days after that. After X-rays and MRIs with an orthopedic surgeon, the surgeon recommended PT. I decided to go to Feldman Physical Therapy based on the recommendations of my many running friends (happily, the popping problem did not impact my running). I started to see Justin Feldman in October 2016, first on a weekly basis through mid-December and then every 2 weeks and now every 3-4 weeks. Justin is the best physical therapist I have ever been to. He takes the time to understand your problems, and he focuses on getting you on the mend as quickly as possible with specific PT exercises to work on your problems. You get a full hour with Justin -- just you and Justin -- instead of being in a "PT mill" where you see the owner for maybe 5 minutes and then get shunted over to an intern. The exercises have been difficult, but THEY ARE WORKING. My knees barely pop, and if one does pop, the ache is gone in 1-3 hours instead of 2-3 days. I am currently on an every 3 weeks maintenance plan with Justin (it is now mid-May 2017). Justin continually refines and updates the targeted therapies and exercises based on input from me. Another great thing is his use of Edufii. He has videod me doing my PT exercises and he then posts them to this app. I can log into my account and review the exercises to ensure I do them properly at home. Justin always answers questions in email or via Edufii in a very timely manner. I am very happy I have Justin Feldman as my physical therapist.

I began seeing Dr. Feldman at the suggestion of my OB-GYN due to increased sciatic pain caused by my pregnancy. As most know it is not advised to take most pain medication while expecting. I found myself spending hours on the couch recuperating after a short trip to the grocery store. This was only my first trimester and I could only imagine what the pain would be like in my third. Dr. Feldman helped diagnose the pain during my first session and had me due a series of easy stretches to help strengthen and stretch my muscles. He told me that the stretches would help ease the pressure the baby was putting on certain nerves. Most of the stretches I could also do at home in a modified setting. My back and legs started feeling 90% better after the first two weekly sessions. He advised that I continue going weekly until I delivered as things move and shift a lot during a normal pregnancy. As the weeks went on new aches and pains would pop up and Dr. Feldman would adjust and add different exercises to do to help with the discomfort. I am now almost at my due date and I feel better now than I did in my first pregnancy (which was mostly pain free). I now have been recommending physical therapy to all my pregnant friends and coworkers. I feel that having a professional help pinpoint and correct the discomfort has been a very valuable asset for this pregnancy.

As a very active young adult, Ive run into the various sports-related injuries. Ive been to various PTs where I felt like just another number, shelling out co-pay after co-pay, sitting in a room with 10 other people for 2 hours at a time. I never felt quite like the diagnosis was accurate as I never seemed to get 100% better. Going on one year of lower back pain I was feeling helpless and wondering if I was going to have to deal with this forever. My first visit to Justin was one of the most mentally relieving appointments Ive ever had. He spent a great amount of time diagnosing my injuries, to the point where he knew exactly what was wrong and exactly how to treat it. At that point, I knew I had the ability to get better if I followed his plan and after just a few visits to him, I was finally free of pain. Ive since been back for gate analysis, where after 3 weeks of running the way he instructed, I PRd my 5k and never felt better.

I cannot say enough positive things about my experience with Feldman Physical Therapy. Justins approach comes from a deep understanding of not only the medical issues at hand, but also the desire for athletes to enjoy their sport of choice. When I came to him with a fully torn meniscus and a cyst, he offered sound advice, strengthening exercises and support to help me get back on the road and running. In a world filled with "fast fix" solutions and a bias to surgeries and interventions, Justins desire to help patients steadily overcome current injuries, while addressing muscle imbalances to prevent future ones is, in a word, refreshing. His advice was sound and Ive slowly been able to return to running -- this time with a plan in place to work on my weaknesses so that Im a stronger, healthier runner. Thanks, Justin!

I have been a patient of Justins for a while now. He has committed himself to my case, and has shown me that he cares as much about my injury as I do. One thing that I love about Feldman PT is how the patient care is one on one. There is only one patient there while you are working, and this insures that you are getting as much attention as possible. Also, he did not just tell me to do 30 of this activity or do something for 20 minutes. Instead he was with me the whole time and was watching my leg to see how much it could take. Rather than pushing me too far, he watched to see how much I could take, and that was how much I would do. I strongly reccomend Justin and Feldman PT to anyone looking for a place for rehab and healing.

I have a bone disease and need top notch care from surgeons, physical therapists, chiropractors and other professionals. I had a superb PT named Drew Whalen but he moved south a few years ago. However, good fortune prevailed (thanks to a tip from Brandi Nicole, the best masseuse in Dutchess County) and I found John Nunez who was, believe it or not, trained by Drew. You can tell in no time that John is the real deal--trained, experienced, compassionate, attentive, competent, ready to take you to the highest level you are capable off--all that and he is down to earth and humble too. When your body needs more, Feldman PT is the place to go. Bob Beverley, psychotherapist and author

I first went to Feldman Physical Therapy because I had injured my shoulder. It progressively got worse and so I went to see Justin. He spends the entire hour with an individual client which was different than my previous experiences in physical therapy. He explained what to do at home regarding stretching and mobility exercises and made certain I was doing them correctly. As my shoulder began to improve, my knee began acting up from running. Justin is a runner and so I returned for his help with this issue as well. The knee is now also much better. I have total confidence in him and am sure I will return for periodic tune-ups!!

If you want high quality care, compassion, a very knowledgeable and honest PT, then Feldman Physical therapy is the place to go. Justin is a phenomenal PT. I have had multiple injuries over the years (knees, neck, ankle) due to my clumsiness. I have been treated by other PTs in the past, but Justins bedside manner, customized therapeutic plan, and knowledge of the body is second to none. He is not only a great PT, but an awesome person as well. I never disliked going to physical therapy. He helped me get right back on my feet ( no pun intended) and I havent had an issue since. One of the best there is!
