I have to say that See-World Optics is beyond any expectations I may have had for a place to buy eyeglasses or contacts. I am 30 years old, and I have been wearing glasses since I am 8. Recently about a year or so ago, I learned about See-World Optics. I am so glad that I was referred. I have a condition called a PRIZM. That means that one eye is lower than the other eye and I need to wear glasses so that the lazy eye can stay level with the normal eye for a clear picture and not double. For this reason, I was told I could never wear contact lenses because they don’t make them like this. Well about 2 months before my wedding, I made an appointment with the optometrist who has been there for over 20 years. He is amazing. During my exam, he found a way that I would be able to wear contacts! Especially for my wedding! Don’t know how, but he did. He told me that they are always going to seminars and conventions and learning about new advances on glasses and contacts. He also gave me a sample pair and waited for me to be able to put them in and take them out of my eye, for I have never worn contacts before. Within 3 days, I was called to come pick up my contacts! My glasses are never ready in 3 days. Well I have to say, he saved my life! No bride wants to wear glasses on her wedding day! I do see better with my glasses but it didn’t matter. I was happy not to have to wear them and still SEE for my wedding. A few months after that he fitted me for very stylish inexpensive frames that look amazing on me! I was referred to him, and I would like to refer YOU to him. I promise you won’t regret it. Good Luck!

Who ever "Mike" is, the guy who wrote the 1 start review, is CLEARLY either blind or the owner of the competitor down the street. It doesnt take a rocket scientist to realize that Mike is Drews competitor. if you ask me, thats dirty business Mike. Its a shame that you felt like you had to write that. By the way, when I click on your name, you wrote a review for another optical store that JUST SO HAPPENS to be down the street from your store as well, AND you can see the store that you own. slick job. With that said.....Drew encompasses the definition of true customer service. My family has been coming to drew for over 21 years. My nieces and nephews, 4 generations worth of my family, have been coming to Drew since 1984. He will work with you, speak to you, give you GREAT deals and will make you feel like youre the only person in the store. DO NOT LISTEN TO NEGATIVITY FROM MIKE. Drew is amazing, and should be proud to be running such an amazing store. I will never go anywhere else. I live 45 minutes away and drive to Drew rather than going to my closest eye glass store. If you want great service, come to See World Optics.Period.

Drew is a "magic man". Those are the words of another satisfied customer. Drew fixed the broken arms of his eyeglass frame with the arms of a different frame, while I tried my new computer glasses that Drew just made. I completely agree that Drew is a "magic man". He is a very knowledgeable and skilled optician. I wish I knew him 10 years ago when I moved to Long Island. Besides the computer glasses, he chose a perfect stylish frame that fit my face for my distance vision glasses with progressive lenses. I was not planning to get a pair of computer glasses, but Drew took the time to discuss and understand my prescription and my vision needs. I highly recommend Drew of See World Optics for anyone who wants stylish eyeglasses or needs eyeglass adjustments, but especially anyone who has a strong prescription and complicated vision needs like myself.

I recently bought a pair of very expensive vintage frames from a local optical store. After a short period of time they literally fell apart. I went back to the store and they told me there was nothing they could do, and they clearly did not want to give me the time of the day. So, I decided I would go to google and look up opticians near me and found See World Optics. I went in, and Drew (I think hes the owner) was incredibly helpful and fixed my frames within an hour. Furthermore, I asked if he himself had any vintage frames and sure enough he quite the selection. Needless to say, I bought two more pair of glasses, I will certainly be back. Excellent experience.

Drew is a perfectionist. I have a difficult prescription. He always makes glasses I can see out of. Drew has an awesome selection of frames. Drew is an artist .He selects many choices from his stock of frames that look good on my face, that will work with my prescription and my personality . Drew ‘s professional opinion on my choices of lenses and frames are honest and his prices are fair. I used to shop every store in Manhattan to look at frames. Now, I just go to Drew and you should too. What more can you ask for? ..OOOOH and there is a very large free parking lot right behind the store. The Q46 bus stops there too.

IF I could give See World 10 stars, I would. Not only is Drew an expert, he is customer oriented rather than $$ oriented. I have been using him for over 20 years. Most recently I broke my treasured retro frames. Since my lenses are very expensive,(progressive, astigmatism, non-glare, transitional) I wanted to get them fixed. He offered to fix them, explained what they would look like, and I opted for a new frame. The challenge was finding a frame that I liked that would take my lenses without affecting my vision. He expertly calibrated and trimmed my lenses so they fit the new frames - awesome results. He is a genius!

I know what I like and what I think looks good on my nose. But Drew took all the guess work out of the equation. He is so knowledgeable and so patient. I tried on a dozen frames and he took the time to give me the pros and cons for each one. When I made my final choice I was so confident that, with Drew’s help, I made the right selection. He was also generous with his time in fixing a frame I bought elsewhere. What a mensch!

Drews artisanship was clearly evident in the variety of options he offered in repairing my sunglasses (e.g. welding a new hinge onto the existing arm). Going forth with our chosen option to change both arms, Drew also took the time to attach the original earpieces to the new temples, a detail nodding to his dedication to quality service. He understands that the sentimental value attached to the pieces he repairs are often times more than their monetary value and treats his craft as such, and now my shades are in a better shape than when I had originally acquired them. Highly recommended.
