Unexpectedly I had to make the sad decision to put my cat down on a Saturday when my Normal vet was closed. I showed up with out an appointment. It was quite busy but they saw what we were there for and fit us in front of the others so we wouldnt wait hours while our baby was suffering. It was the toughest decision we have ever had to make. They were friendly And compassionate. We came in as an emergency so the price was extreme, but he couldnt wait. They put a heart over the line they used to admister the drugs, offered to give us some fur to take home, and made a clay paw print for us to remember him by. Everyone was very nice and tried to make this easier for us.

I was looking for a veterinarian where I could just walk in without an appointment, where they would be kind and help me quickly, and would do as I requested. And I found exactly that and more with Northtowns Veterinary Emergency Services. The facility looks very modern and was spotless. They picked up my phone call within two rings and answered some questions I had about my ill cat. When I arrived, I was greeted pleasantly right away and the options explained to me. The price was very reasonable for immediate walk in no appointment service and I was actually charged a bit less than quoted over the phone. Thank you.

They saw a dog hemorrhaging on the way to their door and refused to take him overnight unless $2,500 was paid upfront. At a time when the banks are closed, and they were not content to wait until morning to get their money. On the phone Sandy had a blatant disregard for this Dogs life -and they would not even keep him overnight, knowing payment would be arranged from M&T Bank. Disgusting. I do not recommend this for anyone whos in emergency need for your pet, as they value dollar signs only. - Sickening, they value money over life!

We took my kitten here because he was took weak to even walk and they told us it was just because he ate something he shouldnt have. They tried charging a ridiculous amount to do more tests so they gave us antibiotics. He was doing much worse over the next two days so we had to take him to Countryside veterinary clinic where they had to put him down.

Do NOT take your pet here for emergency service unless you are made of gold. We had to put our 20 year old cat down and then we were gouged for $550! We cant even greive the loss of our family member for two minutes before our grief is replaced by rage.

I had to recently put my 17 year old cat down. I cant describe how hard it was. The staff there made the process as painless as possible and did a thorough job trying to find a cause for it all. Words cant describe how grateful I am.

Went here today to have Katie treated for 2 lacerations from another dog biting her. Everyone here (the Vet, the Techs, and office people were outstanding!! A real outstanding group who take pride in their work!
