I have been trying to get my dogs records from this place since 2/24/09 (2 weeks) after they dragged my dog with his tail between his legs back to have a check up on his eye, having mistaken the reason for his visit for his annual exam which by their own records (my dog went there for 6 years, from the age of 6 weeks) is not due for another 3 months; the one of the front desk attendants was surly (which up until then I had not experienced) and the owner/Vet who called to follow up on my written letter explaining how poorly I was treated, replied that "If there was a miscommunication, then he apologized." I would be very careful of taking my animal here as they do not treat them in the room with you, but rather take them into the back away from the owner for care and they will not photocopy the written records, but insist on transcribing/interpreting them for you. When they sent records to my new vet, they only sent the vacination history, not the current eye condition... not even the microchip number which they installed. At this point I am no longer looking for an apology for mistreatment, just the records so I can have my dogs full medical history and move on.

Weve taken our dog and cats to Cornwallis Rd Animal Hospital for close to 20 years. Theyve provided quality care through accidents and illnesses. We especially appreciated their guidance and compassion as our beloved Carolina Dog neared the end of her life at 17. We were informed of treatment options and supported in our decisions without judgment or pressure. We continue to take our two aging cats there and recommend them highly.

Love our veterinary office, have been patrons for over 10 years...we breed pug puppies and always have had their early vet care at their office as well our for our adult dogs and cats. Friendly staff, understanding and caring. Recently one of our pugs needed emergency surgery and they did a great job with our Baileys care!

Super vet clinic. So friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. There is plenty of parking, the waiting room is never crowded, wait times are about average and the cost is probably about average. Excellent medical care is always going to cost. They are very compassionate when it comes time for euthanasia at the end of life.

I have been going there since 2005. Very professional, friendly, caring, knowledgeable doctors and support staff. Now I have Dr. Edwards, she is adorable, caring, loving and take her time. She is a wonderful doctor. Very happy and we love the place. Highly recommend Cornwallis Animal Hospital.

Great, wonderful vet. She helped my dog in an emergency and i was so grateful for her knowledge. Very judgemental receptionist. Talked about me like I wasnt within earshot. Made me incredibly uncomfortable and only gave short, blunt replies.
