They are wonderful vets, each one. I have a 13 year old and a 1 yr. old and they are great with both and treat your pet with caring and concern because they understand how important your pet is to you and treat it as such. My older dog has a heart problem and they are wonderful with knowing I am on a limited budget so we do what we HAVE to do and not the frills. I read the other review and both my maltese are groomed there and my cat and they have always looked great - my problem is they are that good it takes a long time to get the appt. Book in advance then set up regular schedule - best way. I love this office the staff is great too. You will never be sorry taking your pet there -

Weve thrown it all at Dr. McConnell and shes helped us navigate through all of our pet health care issues. Shes handled the basic preventative maintenance for our two dogs in addition to long term care for our golden with chronic seizure episodes, teeth removal and cleaning, and even the euthanasia of our elderly lab. While its obvious she knows her medicine, shes also able to explian what is medically going on and our care options in and easy to understand manner for those of us who lack the subject matter expertise. We trust her with our pets lives...this is the highest compliment I can offer.

Our first experience at Care First Animal Hospital at Wellington was great. New to the area, it can be daunting to find new connections for important services and a veterinarian is at the top of the list. We were recommended to Care First by someone who has three pets and has to rely heavily on this practice. We were thrilled with our first experience and highly recommend it to anyone. We found the doctor and the veterinary technician/nurse (Kelly) to both be kind, patient and welcoming. They didnt rush us through our first visit and patiently answered all of our questions. Love this practice!

I am very pleased with the staff at this office and how well they take care of my two cats. One cat has heart and kidney problems and Dr. McConnell has been very attentive, provided me with options for his care, discussed his condition with other veterinarians and consulted with the staff at the NC State Vet Hospital. In short this facility has provided excellent care for my cats.

Had our first boarding experience there over the holidays, as our regular Carefirst location was already booked. We were glad to recognize experienced staff from our location, it provided a comforting transition to a new location. Their stay seemed to go well, so its nice to have another boarding option.

Excellent veterinary practice! I have been taking my golden retriever there since me Chung to the area last summer and they have taken very good care of him. He recently had his teeth cleaned and they did a super job and nice calling to check on him once we were home. I would highly recommend them!
