Ive been going to Dr. Neuhoff for over 20 years and its the one check-up I look forward to every year. When you walk in the door youre immediately given a warm welcome by Kat and Emily. Every encounter with them is genuine and not the cold reception of "ID and updated insurance card" you get at other doctor offices. The last couple of years, Jennifer has talked me into opting for the Optos machine (sp?) instead of dilation. Poor Jennifer. The last time I was there it took over seven tries on my right eye, but she was patient and we finally got it! (I would highly suggest doing this and not being sensitive to light for the next four hours). Dr. Neuhoff is equally patient as I make him go back and forth and back and forth between the options to see how my vision has improved (or not). Then comes my favorite part of the appointment, I get to try on the different frames! Cindy has a great eye for which frames work with your face shape, hair color, etc. Seriously, I had no idea how much of a difference tortoise frames would make compared to black. Huge thank you to all of the Vision 1st staff and doctors for making each visit a great experience!

I have had the pleasure of being a patient of Dr. Neuhoff since 1986. He has attended to my familys eyes (myself, my children, spouse, mother, and grandchild, etc.) through the years with great care, concern and knowledge. I have also had my eyes expertly examined by the wonderful Dr. Odes. Together with their staff, these Doctors are not just Physicians, they are trusted and dear people we look forward to seeing and catching up with on our visits. The Doctors and their exceptional staff are wonderful people who look after us with kindness and professionalism. They are thorough and patient and diligently work to fit contacts and glasses and frames with precision and skill. We love them!

Vision 1st Nashville has been the best Optometrist practice that I have ever trusted with my vision. Both Dr. Neuhoff and Dr. Odes are fantastic people and eyecare professionals. Dr. Odes was at a practice that I went to previously. I absolutely love her! Im so glad she is with Dr. Neuhoffs practice now. Cindy (the Optician) is the rock star who helps pick out the most fashionable frames that work with my face. She she is always willing to meet my special ordering requests and gracious when I change my mind ump-teen times, sometimes even after the order has been completed. The assistants and office staff are also great!

I decided to give Vision 1st a try after having a bad experience at a different vision provider. It was definitely a breath of fresh air to interact with the staff which was very helpful and friendly. Dr. Neuhoff is very personable, very thorough in his explanations of tests and mechanics of the eye, and took the time to answer any questions that I had. I have never felt like he rushed through my appointment to get to the next patient like so many other doctors do. As a patient, you always want to feel like you matter and at Vision 1st, I assure you, you will be treated that way.

Every experience at Vision 1st, from start to finish, is the most amazing example of customer service Ive ever had. They worked me in last minute for a corneal abrasion and I booked an appointment for my yearly eye exam with them before leaving. Everyone is so friendly and go out of their way to make everyones experience as amazing as the last. Keep up the great work guys!! their affordable prices, flexible schedule, and friendly smiles make this the only place Ill let handle my eye care from here on out!!

I cant not say enough about Dr. Neuhoff, Dr. Odes and the entire staff. I have been going there for years and have always had the absolute best care. They go the extra mile, they answer the phone, return calls, AND if you have an eye emergency, YES the Dr. on call will actually call you back!! I had an emergency today, Dr. Neuhoff called me right away and Dr. Odes came into the office on her day off to see me. If anyone is wondering who to go see, please go to the best in town! They are awesome.

We found out about Vision 1st through a co-worker of my wifes who drove from Dickson County for an appointment. She loved the office enough to recommend to our family. We live in southeast Davidson county and could go to a doctor closer to our home but believe it is worth the drive to come to this part of town because of the great service and expertise of the staff and doctors. This place is absolutely amazing. The staff was so extremely helpful and kind even when my daughter was being a bit difficult after cataract surgery. They worked with us and kept us informed about the arrival of the glasses. They are not very close to us but i wouldnt mind driving an extra 20-30 minutes just to see them. They also cary Miraflex glasses for children and they are just so cute!
