Due to its convenient location, my family had been considering for a while to switch to Grants Mill Animal Hospital. When our dog got sick, we had our opportunity. Dr. Petras was able to see us on a Sunday, which was a major plus, helping us avoid waiting several days to help our sick pet. We were very impressed by the interior of the building: It was very clean and new, not smelling like "the vet." The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the service was quick and painless. Dr. Petras was knowledgeable and personable, even telling us that a few procedures could wait and were not necessary at that time. This gave me confidence that she wants what is best for my dog rather than trying to get as much money out of us as possible. I highly recommend you take your pet to Grants Mill Animal Hospital.

After rescuing a stray kitten recently, Ive started using Grants Mill Animal Hospital as my primary vet. Its quite nice for the following reasons: 1) Very nice, clean modern facility. Free beverages and cute pet books in the waiting room, nice, clean comfortable exam rooms for pets. There is even a giant cat tree in the pet boarding area. You can tell no expense was spared to make this a nice and comfortable place for people and pets. 2) Friendly and knowledgeable staff. You can tell everyone here is a pet owner who genuinely cares for animals and they wont hesitate to show some love for yours. They have good senses of humor and a gentle way with animals. The staff and particularly Dr. Lindsey Petras are also very knowledgeable and have no difficulty answering questions about your pets health.

After a bad experience at another veterinarian, I was looking for another place to take my pups. Based on a recommendation, I went to Grants Mill and introduced my dog Snap to Dr. Petras and her team of super nice folks. The whole experience was wonderful, and they were so sweet to my dog, and very reasonable about the price for my first visit. I whole-heartedly, without reservation, recommend Dr. Petras and Grants Mill Animal Hospital to anyone who loves their dog or cat, and wants someone to take care of them who loves them the same.

Hands down, Dr. Petras and her staff at Grants Mill Animal Hospital is the best you will ever encounter! They are kind, empathetic, knowledgeable, affordable, and caring. I have been taking my service dog and other pets to her for over 2 years now. I know they are in the best hands! But more than that, Dr. Petras and her staff make sure you are comfortable and understand everything along the way. Ive had bad experiences before with vets, but this group makes sure your pet feels safe and loved.

My experience with Grants Mill Animal Hospital was absolutely wonderful. I woke up to a sick dog unable to walk and running an extremely high fever. I took Bodhi to Grants Mill since it was closest to where I live, because honestly I didnt think she could wait. Dr. Petras was attentive, kind, and very professional. The whole staff made sure Bodhi was well taken care of. Also, I feel that my bill was extremely reasonable and fair. I will definitely bring Bodhi back to Dr Petras from now on.

Dr. Petras is absolutely amazing! She is knowledgeable, kind & compassionate, has an incredible work ethic, & wont sugar coat the truth, which in my opinion is necessary for a great doctor - of the animal or human species! Her office has a great modern vibe, is very clean, & her office staff is super sweet. You can tell that everybody at Grants Mill Animal Hospital adores animals, & they do an excellent job taking care of any "patient" that comes in.

The staff are very friendly and clearly care about your pets. I have brought our dog in while he has been ill and received such prompt diagnosis and care that I am changing vet for both of my dogs. They have boarded there also and seemed to be quite happy when I picked them up. I will definitely use this vet again. Dr Petras is extremely personable and I have been impressed so far.

Dr. Petras is absolutely amazing with animals. I dont think she meets a stranger. Shes been my familys vet for many years and no matter what the circumstances, from regular check-up to the heartbreaking decision to ease an older pets suffering, there is no other vet Id wish to have with us during that time. Definitely a great place to take your pooch! The staff are friendly and super knowledgeable. They bathe, groom, do check ups, any even allow your pet to board with them a couple of days if your maybe going on vacation and cant take them with you! Also their prices are very reasonable!
