CARELESS&MONEY LEACHES. First I thought it would be a good experience. Once I picked up my vet from the procedure & paid, not one person informed me as to what the wound is supposed to look like, what the healing process is like, they did not have him a bandage, or a e-collar. I had never had a pet to get neutered, so I thought well maybe this is how it is now! Well, I noticed that where the incision was it was open(this was on my way home, & he laid to sleep as soon as he got in the car), turns out THERE WERE NO STITCHES LEFT BUT ONE!!! I took him back, they said they would have to staple him, so they did, when I pick him up from this procedure then they give me the e-collar, and charge me 52.00 for the collar and the antibiotic. shouldnt have they given me this the first time???? of course not, they want to make more money. Well fine, i take him home, and wow, the staples are coming off. even with him having his e-collar on! of course by this time their office had already closed shortly after i had picked him up. so next morning i call them and tell them i need to bring my dog back in for more staples there are none left! i asked the receptionist.."I wont be charged for this right??? considering im not responsible for the stapling right?" she said no, so i tell her my husband will drop my dog off on his way to work, because i was already heading to work before they opened. well, when my husband gets there they want to CHARGE us AGAIN!! Seriously!!?? this place has more cracks in what they say than anybody! Then when i call to complain, the lady practically blames it on me!!?? oh you should have kept him calm & in a crate! Im thinking...seriously????he had been sleeping since he got home!! how much calmer could he be!!??then she says oh it states in your invoice that you should have kept him calm, i told her all i saw was numbers, im gonna look at it again, so i hung up, pulled the invoice out & surely it does NOT state anywhere the instructions! URGH! NOW IM HAVING TO TAKE CARE OF THIS MYSELF. WILL NEVER TAKE ANY OF MY PETS HERE AGAIN, AND I RECOMMEND EVERYONE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE, THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR ANIMAL, OR YOU, THEY JUST WANT YOUR MONEY

Not happy. Shelter sent our adopted kitty to this clinic for her spaying last Friday and kittys incision looked kinda odd at first. Then over the weekend it became really odd looking and began separating a bit. I didnt see stitches, so I assume they used glue. Monday we decided to take her back to vet to check her because it seemed to be infected. It is. However, they gave my daughter, who took kitty up there, some antibiotics and more pain killer and said if incision came open any further she would need staples. THEN they wanted to charge for it. I spoke to the office and they consulted with the drs and said, the infection as due to her licking and moving too much. I beg their pardon, but I have had many of animals, dogs and cats, males and females, spayed and neutered over the years, by various vets, and NEVER had this happen, this was NOT due to that for she didnt bother it that much and she wasnt ripping and roaring around the house. But what are you to do... Well last night when I got home, she was WORSE. So we drove her up to MY vets office. Right away the dr said "you can give all the antibiotics you want, but without re-opening that and cleaning it out, put a drain in it, flush it several times a day with antibiotics, it will not get better." Thank God for my vets office. So we had to leave kitty with him to work his magic. I am very discouraged by Mays and will be consulting with Shelter director.

Non informative and money hungry! I have taken all my animals here for quite some time never giving it a second thought until a friend of mine informed me of what they were paying for the same services. May puts a $15 dollar mark up on trifexis and thats just for starters. The flat out lack of information is just beyond me, the doctor took one look at my dog, proscribed some meds, and that was it. No explanation of why they prescribed these meds or what exactly was causing the problem. After we finished the cycle of medications, the symptoms were still there and my dog still had no relief. We called back to inquire what to do next, and they informed us that we had to bring him back for ANOTHER examination at FULL COST. Also that the doctor hadnt actually seen our dog at the last visit. So who did? My recommendation is to do some research before choosing your vet I wish I had!

Went to the north clinic. Money hungry people. They dont do what you ask them to. I took my dog there because she was scratching and was broke out on her legs. The vet did a microchip test on MY DOG that had already been there before and charged me for it. He glanced at the rash on her legs then went to her ear that I had already had a different vet at the same clinic look at and she said it was fine. Based off of a test he did on her ear, which she never scratched and didnt have the rash on it, He then swore that she had scabies. And in the process of looking at her ear, HE CUT IT in two places. Then he proceeded to smack me with an almost $150 bill for her treatment and she is still scratching, just as bad. Do NOT go there.

They do not really care about your animal. Only the money that comes from treating it. My dog has a condition and needs medicine every 75 days. The medicine cost $200 a bottle. I came in to get the medicine and they told me they wouldnt give it to me until I had more tests run. I tried to schedule an I appointment later and asked if i could just get what she needs. After some whispering in the back room the front desk woman came out and told me no. The vet didnt even have the professionalism to come out and talk to me. Ive been to other mayvet locations and had much friendlier help. Shame. Ill be moving to Shamblin.

Give me a break. Guy, Waller and the folks at the May Clinics are WONDERFUL. I have been using them for many years for 2 Saint Bernards, 3 Mastiffs and 4 kitties. They are always polite and take the time to help you to understand what is happening with your pawed babies. I have never felt overcharged for any procedure. Actually, considering the knowledge that Dr. Guy May has, I consider my charges a real bargain. Dont give bad ratings because you are a cheap pet owner and shouldnt be allowed a pet anyway. These folks are top notch and I put the lives of my "children" in their hands.

Took my cat in and he needed antibiotics and the amount they charged was just ridiculous but he got in fast so I was just grateful he was taken care of but the meds didnt help and they said to bring him back for a follow up and maybe stronger meds which I did but then they charged me the same crazy price again. In the end an upper respiratory infection cost me over $400 which is a bit much for probably less than 5 minutes total of his time and some watered down meds top start with. Doctors should be paid on performance like the rest of us rather than paid more for screwing up.
