With a heavy heart Im saddened to announce the passing of Aj Robinson. Like many of you already know, our pets are not just animals but a very important part of our family. Ajs place in our family was no different, he brought a joy to our family that will never be matched or replicated ever again. We left him in the trusted care of our vet Madison Animal Care Hospital. They left him outside "on accident" before releasing the larger dogs. He was then attacked by another dog and killed. I would never have thought that we would be receiving his remains after our family vacation instead of picking up our happy puppy. I couldnt fathom this feeling of picking up your dogs toys and finding his treats hidden around the house and knowing hell never be here again to pull them back out. I miss him greeting me at the door when I come home and him barking at five to let you know its dinner time. I miss him chasing chipmunks and soccer balls in our backyard. I miss the sound of his nails running across the hardwood floors as he came up to me. This is the first time Ive not been able to hold him while being sad and it hurts more than I thought it would. Im so sorry A.J. for trusting your care into someone that didnt do their job. Im so sorry your last moments were in fear and hurt instead of growing old because someone didnt do their job. Im sorry youre no longer here because someone didnt do their job. I hope youre at peace now and no longer in fear or hurting. I hope youre some place nice knowing you were so incredibly loved and appreciated. You are such a good boy and I am honored to have loved you and for the time we had spent together. Please hold your babies extra tight tonight.

This place is an absolute RIP OFF! They care about one thing and its to take advantage of clients and make money. the doctors here do not care about the animals. My dog had simple diarrhea and vomiting. I was told they need to do a blood test, pancreas test, this that and the other. I was handed an estimate of $175. The vet was not knowledgable and was shooting darts at the sickness. She was not friendly or sympathetic. Did not say thank you or youre welcome. After declining all these unnecessary tests, I was handed prescription pills and a cream to squirt into the mouth. The doctor left the room. I asked the nurse how to administer the cream, she had no clue. I had to read the instructions on the package. Without even handing a bill, the receptionist said todays visit is $170. I asked for a bill to see the charges. I was charged $110 just for the medication. I came home and googled the prices, amazon has all the meds for $40 total. These people charge more then double the price for meds? STAY AWAY from this place! You will end up paying a HIGH amount for nothing. Much better friendlier vets in town. These are your typical vets that take advantage and exploit pet owners.

These guys are phenomenal! Weve been taking our pup, Sam here for all treatments and routine care for about two years now. The vet techs are very knowledgeable and friendly, as are the doctors and rest of the staff. When sam had issues with his ears, they did only necessary tests and didnt overcharge. The staff is not only interested in physical health of your pets, but in the mental/behavioral health. Sam had fear issues when we adopted him from the shelter and they gave us many tips and forms of contact to help him (by the way, hes doing so much better now)! Some people dont realize how expensive it is to own and properly take care of their animals; MACH is no more expensive from any other vet clinic in the Huntsville/Madison area. **Not only is their hospital great, their Doggy Daycare is FANTASTIC. Its only $10 a day for your pup, and they get to play together outside in the new play area complete with a water fountain. Sam LOVES going there and he especially loves a caretaker, Sal. ** Seriously, this is a great hospital.

We love Madison Animal Care Hospital! We own a lab mix and a Maine Coon cat. Our pets have been coming here for a few years now for veteranary care, and for boarding. Every staff member we have ever spoken with is wonderful. You can tell every employee loves animals, and loves caring for them. Everyone always has a smile. Our dog loves coming here! Our cat is an indoor/spoiled cat, and is always uneasy about leaving the house. He has always been treated calmly and gently here. I love that they can perform medical procedures right there if necessary. They cleaned our cats teeth last year. It was done in the morning, and we were able to pick him up that afternoon. I have never had a complaint, and our animals love them. They are not the cheapest place in town, but you get what you pay for. Im sure you can look around for less expensive places. However, when it comes to the care of my pets, I would rather spend the money for great care, and know they are well taken care of.

We have been going to Madison Animal Care for so many years. Our most recent experience with them was yesterday. We took our 3 yr old German Shep, Lucy, to be groomed. We used them many, many times but unfortunately their groomer, which we loved, was no longer there and we went to Pet Paradise in Madison. Not a good experience. Madison Animal got a new groomer, Heather, and we used her for the lst time and certainly not the last time, yesterday. Lucy has never looked so beautiful, smelled so good and the special "no shedding" shampoo is awesome. After Lucys bad experience at Pet Paradise I was very nervous about taking her to someone new again. Heather took the time to talk with me and Lucy came home so happy. Thank you Heather and everyone else for taking such great care of our baby. For anyone looking for a vet, stop looking, go to Madison Animal Care. Everyone there is awesome. Thank you so very much!

I have been going to MACH for many years. Dr. Magee has literally saved one dog from bleeding out (in surgery). He has diagnosed or helped diagnose and treat strange problems in several of our cats and dogs. Dr. Grider has gone above and beyond with a very sick dog and other animals as well. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I have always been very aware of my options with regard to treatments and costs. I have no idea why anyone has negative remarks or comments regarding this clinic. Right now my husband and I have 4 large dogs and 6 cats. They are a part of our family. We TRUST this vet clinic with our furry family!

We are new in town and chose this clini because it was near and convenient to our home. Our older dog is so healthy and all we need are usual annual exams. Our new addition is a puppy. We had never owned a puppy since we adopted our older dog at age four. The Vet Tech was so helpful and knowledgeable. She provided good information and the Vet gave us our puppies first flea and heart worm pill for free. We have not had any problems with the clinic or with our pets and they have a kennel which we have left out dogs. They do a great job of providing care for our animals and we appreciate it. My only gripe is the prices seem a bit high.
