Dr. Reed receives a 5 STAR from me. he has been my OB-GYN for maybe 30 years... Now, For the rest of the story; Front desk staff is --- well, You can judge for yourself. It was after 5:00pm, my younger sister was checking out. I said to the front desk lady "Hey, can you look up when my appointment is?" She looked at me and said "I was suppose to have gotten off 10 minutes ago." I said "ok, dont worry about it, I will call tomorrow." I made multiple phone calls on multiple days. NO one EVER answered the phone. I left a message on multiple days requesting a return phone call with date and time of my appointment. I said and spelled my name, clearly gave my date of birth, repeated it and phone number and yes, I repeated that as well. In conclusion, I never received a return call. I missed my appointment. No one has called to reschedule. So, after 30 years of having Dr. Reed as my doctor, I have made appointment with a different facility. **** again, Dr. Reed is a 5 STAR doctor.*****

The check in staff are great, nurses are also fantastic. Doctors are residents and you hardly ever see the same on the last doctor my son seen was Dr Khan she was wonderful and Dr Blum is also outstanding the problem is getting a appointment and even if you do the wait time is unbelievable had app at 2 pm its now 3:22 and still not seen? How or why this happens? Do they overbook? The staff who makes appointments should know who your Dr is? Seems this appointment notice I said appointment since I waited close to 3 weeks to get one was rescheduled by some dumbbell named Molly as a walk in since the original scheduler scheduled him with Dr Ellis? Who supposedly is not his physician? Again this place is so badly run that it truly amazing how many mistakes are made here and from reading the other reviews also medical mistakes are being made due to adults and children not being able to get appointments and proper medical care.

My wife is too nice to write a review so Im writing for her. She is a patient and called in with a potential medical emergency. Couldnt get anyone to call her back. First several times she called during business hours no one picked up. At a doctors office. She had to leave a message with the answering service to finally get a call back. She told them her situation, they were supposed to call her back after asking the doctor. They never called back. She left another message and she hasnt gotten a call back yet, its been another week. We will be finding another doctor. If dealing with something life threatening, the last doctors office you want to call is one where they wont answer the phone.

No one ever answers the phone. No one ever calls back. Hold time is ridiculous just to be transferred to another hold line. It doesnt matter if you have an appointment or not, you are going to wait at minimum two hours to be seen. I have had more misdiagnoses here than anywhere else. Most recently, they missed MRSA staph infection in my 4 year old. They kept giving him random antibiotics for and ear infection. After the fourth round of antibiotics that didnt work, his fever skyrocketed. I took him to the ER, the did a culture, and yeah. MRSA. My kids rarely get seen by the same doctor. I am getting a new primary care doctor ASAP.

The worse place to take your kids. You will never get to be seen on your appointment time. What is the point to even making one appointment? Its very disrespectful to the patient, Im sure if the patient was one hour late they would not get to be seen but they leave the patient waiting for hours. Not even one single time I came here and didnt have to wait for at least one hour past the original appointment time. Staff is not helpful. When I ask why is taking so long as always to be called all they say is "everywhere you go you will always wait" Very disappointed at the service there.

My daughters have been coming to Dr. Ashley Evans MD, since my youngest was born which is now makes 14 years, she nor her staff has or have not ever acted in a rude or unprofessional manner. When my daughter was treated for a rare condition which Dr. Evans was unfamiliar with, she immediately sent her an ENT her in the area, which the end result was surgery. I do know that they use an answering service, but I get a return phone call in a timely manner. I will continue to bring them to this practice until they are adults and can no longer be seen by a pediatrician.

I cant ever get anyone on the phone to make a appointment, when I do get through they never have a appointment right away it always takes like a mouth to get in unless you want to wait hours in the name night client. I have to see my doctor ever month for my meds they want write a prescription for more than a month at a time if its a narcotic and if I cant get a appointment to get my meds it messes my whole system up and I have to deal with the symptoms from not having my meds on time. They need more staff and doctors or less patience.

I had severe morning sickness issues that left me in the Emergency room 4 times. Each time I was told I needed to make an earlier appointment with my OB/GYN to make sure everything was okay, but when I called to make an earlier appointment, they told me it was unnecessary to see me any earlier than my already scheduled appointment. Definitely will be finding a new doctor and not recommending this one to anybody.

The staff at the UMC are great, I always get a returned call. Dr. McDonald is a great physician and listens to what the patient is going through.
