Dr Kitagawa is an experienced & silled dentist ( UCSF College of Dentistry), is down to earth, pleasant and patient in answering questions. Maria and staff are great also. They take their time answering any questions or concerns. I highly recommend them. I am really picky about dentists. i have had some dentists when I have moved tell me I had cavities when I did not, tell me I needed gum surgery when I did not need it ( right after I had a baby)! so after that I became a bit gun shy about finding a new dentist Then my dentist in Danville whom I trusted completely (retired who had been recommended by the periodontist that said I did not need gum, surgery when I had asked for a referral when I moved to Danville) and I found Dr Kitagawa when my daughter and I were searching for a dentist that would treat those without employer sponsored dental insurance with the same concern for their dental hygiene and dental care as those with employer sponsored dental insurance.

The staff was excellent to work with, they all were very nice, professional and knowledgeable about everything. I didnt feel out of place or like I was a bother when asking questions or wanting to see and understand what was going on. I havent been to see a dentist for years, but doctor barber didnt say anything negative about my horrible teeth, instead he reassured me that he will get my teeth back to how they were before the neglect I put them through. All in all it was a great experience and I now have a smile I can be proud of again. Definatly will return always for any other work I need done in the future.

I started going here several years ago. Now as an adult I decided it was worth driving from Phoenix for my checkups etc because I could not find a dentist who made me feel comfortable and was honest with me about all of my options. Very helpful and considerate staff.

Great staff, warm friendly kind etc. I almost thought I was gonna be offered a foot massage and glass of non alcoholic wine before I left. Dr Erskine is wonderful and his assistants and office staff are great.
