I remember I was always really frightened of the scary sterile dentists office as a child. Not so with this office! Its a big arcade that just happens to have dentists present. The dental care is TOP NOTCH, they work with plenty of health insurances, and my boys (even AFTER receiving a pretty serious oral procedure) absolutely love it. They allow you to sit through your childs procedure if you like and I didnt hear one "ow" even while getting shots. Theres so many goodies waiting for you before and after your appointment, and even a fun activity every month to enter a new giveaway raffle. I love spending family time playing air hockey while we wait for their names to be called. And each dental chair has a flat screen tv in the ceiling for the kids to watch cool movies while the dentist works. I wish they had offices like this when I was a kid!

Came to Phoenix to visit family and my 5 year old son needed a cleaning. Someone at my parents church recommended Shine. Being a New Yorker, Ive seen my far share of good and bad dentist. This place blew my expectations out of the water. Dr. Andersen was incredibly nice to my son (who hates dentists). He put him at ease and him feel very comfortable. The office is top notch with all the latest technology. Each chair has its own tv which was playing a cartoon at the time. My son loved it and it provided an excellent distraction. Dr. Andersen put my son so much as ease that I was able to use their game room to pass the time. They had arcade basketball, skeet-ball, air hockey and even an Xbox. My son gave Dr. Andersen a glowing review and I highly recommend her and Shine for any child.

My child was fully awake, aware, was able to talk, and crying while getting her tooth extracted. No words can explain the inhumanity I walked into. As a parent, it hurts deeply to know you put your child in that situation. All the 5 star reviews is because of the gameroom and friendly hygienists. But PLEASE do not get dental work done here, not because I am upset with them, but because no child deserves to be tied down, dark sunglasses over their eyes so they cant see, the dentist closing the childs lips together while the child is crying, hair wet on the side of my childs head from all the tears because she was crying for an hour. Sad to say, my daughter is only 3. I am completely sickened, traumatized and truly heartbroken. Even after complaining- the dentist is still there.

My daughter has been both an orthodontic and dental patient at Shine for a few years now. The staff is very friendly and prompt about getting her in to be seen. She got her braces off in June and the results were great. Dr. Bolesta is a great orthodontist and we love the family atmosphere that they have created in the office. The office is modern and geared towards kids and we especially love the upstairs game room! The dentistry is gentle and the dentist offices have tvs in them to keep the kids entertained during their procedures. I recently referred a friend of mine to Shine and she was very happy also and has told me that she will be taking her child there for all of his dentistry. We will continue taking our daughter to Shine for all of her dental needs.

I took my three kids in for a cleaning and exam. Everything seemed ok until they told me every single child had a cavity. My gut instinct questioned this because it seemed odd that EVERY one of them would have them. My kids take good care of their teeth. Also, my youngest was only 4 and my kids had never had cavities before. So, I chose not to get them done and got a second opinion at another dentist. Turns out both my youngest and my middle son had NO cavities and my oldest had 2 but on baby teeth. They said the cavities are very small and the teeth will fall out anyway so no need to do anything. Shine, wanted hundreds of dollars to do work that was completely false or unnecessary. I didnt trust them and Im glad I listened to my instincts!

I have never experienced such a professional staff and friendly environment as Shine. The entire staff is very educated on what goes on and the place looks like a party zone! There is XBOX upstairs for the older kids, basketball, skee ball, air hockey and foosball. There is also a slide and a small play area for younger kids. We love going there and my daughters teeth look FAB!! She was so scared about going - because she thought they were going to pull teeth. They worked with her as her teeth were falling out! No teeth pulled! Might have to head back for our son soon!! Would HIGHLY recommend Shine! Dr. Jon and Sam are great!

Dr. Jon Bolesta from Shine Ortho did a AWESOME job on my sons teeth, I really would like to thank Dr Jon, my son does not stop smiling now that his teeth look great, before his braces he smiled but would cover his mouth, now he smiles from ear to ear, once again THANK YOU, Also the staff front and back have always been very friendly, and I have never had to wait we usually would sign in and then back office would come up and call him back and do what they had to do and always made sure we never left the office with out answering any question we may have had !!!!!

My sons have been patients at Shine since we moved to Glendale three years ago. We love it! The staff is very helpful and friendly. They really are accommodating and work with your school/work schedule for appointments. Most of all the service is exceptional!! I have one child who just finished braces and his teeth look wonderful! My other son is set to get his braces next month and I know his smile will turn out just as great. Im so happy that we found Dr. Bolesta. I highly recommend Shine Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Bolesta and his staff are fantastic! From the beginning, treatment was clear as was the financial piece of the braces. Dr. Bolestas staff is friendly and efficient; eager to help in any way they can; not to mention using modern forms of communication to keep lines open between doctor and patient. The end product is wonderful; my sons teeth look great! Dr. Bolesta is a man of detail and makes sure everyones happy with the end result. Ive already recommended Dr. Bolesta at Shine Orthodontics to several people and will continue too!

Shine has become a regular stop in our routine as we have 3 kids in braces and one who has just finished the process. From our first consultation, we have all been so happy here--and have referred many others! Dr. Bolesta is so humble and kind and all of the Shine staff is always so happy and helpful. Our kids love to go upstairs and play all the games, enter the monthly contests, and receive their token that always earns them a prize on their way out the door. We feel so blessed to have found Shine!!

Im so glad we found Shine! Not only is Dr. Bolesta wonderful with our son, but their staff has been so great to work with - Always trying their hardest to accommodate our schedule, not to mention our budget! We have been part of the Shine family for the past several years and even though weve recently moved to another city and their office is much farther away now, our son will remain a Shine patient - Theres nobody I trust more to take care of my kiddos beautiful smile!
