Went for 6 months to establish care and the Doctor not only didnt want my records forwarded but after watching the front office staff select the patients they didnt want coming back I noticed them go about agitating each of these people until the patients selected became belligerent and argumentative. I hadnt considered why but after a few months I became one of the people selected to force into an adversarial position. I contacted a case manager who then gave me the chance to email the Doctor directly. The response from this Doctor was to tell off the Case Manager and I never went back. Now I know why the Doctor never needed my records forwarded. They planned on removing me from their client list from the first day intake appointment.

Dr. Vanig and Dr. Santos were both excellent providers for the LGBT community. They really work hard to help the community. So sad there are patients that are so demanding. I heard a patient angry and upset as the provider can not write him a script as he test (+) for coccaine. That dude was crazy! Funny I see these reviews from patients that said they are leaving, but you see them still in the clinic. Please stop harassing the providers and leave already! Get your narcotics somewhere else! We love this clinic and this is the only place that really help the LGBT community. Ive been to so many clinics and this is by far the best! They can not do everything, but I see how hard they try to help you. I highly recommend them!!!!!

Have gone here for 15 years and I will not any longer. Dr Vanig is excellent but impossible to get in to. I always saw TJ but after he left my care has substantially gone downhill. Saw Max who never followed through on getting me my therapy, despite 3 follow up calls from me. Saw Edison who acted like he had better things to do and now wont refill my prescriptions and have no idea why. I have requested call backs, as maybe different meds are recomended, but get nothing. I am sad and angry that I now have to find another doc. Im going to have to drive out to scottsdale and see TJ again. Its worth it to have someone who cares. Adios Spectrum.

The Visit with the Dr was fine but has been OVERSHADOWED by how extremely difficult it has been in reaching anyone that works in that office to obtain information. Take note that I was on hold for over 20 minutes even after I explained the urgent need for my calling. Over 10 calls were made, answered and immediately placed on hold. The entire experience was WELL over 30 minutes and 2 different women answered the phone. I gave up when the calls started to going to voicemail because its obvious the staff just didnt care to answer calls anymore. Calls were made 8/10/2017 between 2:10-:245 pm. RIDICULOUS!!!!!

I have been with Dr. Vanig since his practice was on Lincoln in Scottsdale and I am constantly amazed at the level of care and respect he and his staff give to everyone who is a patient. At one point a couple of years ago I had to use another provider because of insurance changes and it was not what I had come to expect. Ive been back for years and it isnt likely Im going anywhere else. So with that said, Thank you Dr. Vanig and all of Spectrum Medical for the 15 plus years of awesome care.

Max is very compassionate and supportive. He has quite the sense of humor. Dr.Vanig is extremely caring of his patients and community. Even those patients who sometimes can be stubborn like myself. I do feel very accepted at his office. They spend time with their patients and really do a make a difference. Dr.Vanigs bedside manner has improved a lot. Ive been going here for years. I guess I needed to have records updated. But how can everything still be on paper? Its an inconvenience to not be advised before hand that there is 15 minutes of paperwork to be filled out and that in 2016 the only way to capture this information is via pen and paper still. Im glad the office looks refreshed and nice. But I would rather a quicker more convenient experience than a nice looking Drs office.

I was suffering from cough and colds for days. I called the clinic and got in right away. This was a great improvement unlike before when I have to wait for weeks to get in. I am enjoying this weekend because of them. LGBT friendly place. Max is so cute and very knowledgeable. Dr. Vanig is very supportive of his staff. I highly recommend the place. Will be back soon for my annual physical exam.

Dr. Vanig and Maximo are both excellent caregivers. The office staff is friendly and efficient and remarkably helpful. I have never received better care than what I have had at Spectrum medical. I have recommended this group many times and I will continue to do so. This is truly a Five-Star operation!

Unlike a prior review, they accept more then Blue Cross, as I am a patient and have HealthNet. Dr.Vanig is a good doctor, yes he is a specialist so it can take time to get in. Plan accordingly!

They should state that they only take one insurance. Blue Cross HMO. Anything else is N-O-T accepted. What a waste of my time.
