I had a great experience at Scottsdale Institute. During the initial consultation I was thoroughly informed of the procedure, which would be specific to my hair loss situation. I had several follow up calls with Carly and she was available and able to answer any questions that I had while I was making the decision on whether to do the procedure or not. Leading up to the procedure I was able to use the low level laser machines in their office 3 times a week, which they were able to work around my busy schedule to get me in. On the day of surgery Dr. Friedman and the nurses were very accommodating, making sure that any questions I had were answered and that I was comfortable during the entire process, which I was. I was happy that Dr. Friedman was able to get over 3,200 grafts in the first surgery as our original goal was 2,500. I had the procedure on Friday 3/16/12 and Ive since been in for two follow up appointments to make sure my grafts and sutures are healing properly, which they are. I plan on having a second procedure with Dr. Friedman and team in about a year to achieve additional density. Ive felt like I have been in very capable hands all along the way and recommend Scottsdale Institute to anyone who is considering hair transplant surgery.

The review by Ryan Gilod is 100 percent false and fake. Dr. Friedman and the Scottsdale Institute does not post pictures of people on their website without their signed consent. Furthermore, there is no logical reason to post a photograph of someone who is not a patient, never had a procedure with us, and claims he only had a "consultation." It makes no sense. The before and after photographs we do show are always of the same patient, and one who has signed a photograph release form. This review is so fake, its ridiculous. Shortly after this was posted, we were contacted by a "reputation management" company - before we knew about this fake review. Coincidence? Mr. Gilod claims that ALL of our before and after photos are fake. Our B&A photos are not fake, they are of actual patients who signed a released form to have their photographs published. This person "Gilod" admits to using an alias which makes it impossible for us to reconcile this matter. This post is our response.

I went for an initial evaluation for a hair transplant. I decided not to move forward as the doctor who would have done the procedure doesnt actually evaluate you. Some photos were taken of me. I never signed or agreed to have them posted on their webpage, especially as they put me next to a head that was quite bald that was the before picture and used mine as the after picture. They need to take off all photos that arent true before and after pictures regarding hair loss on their webpage. Do not trust this company to do your procedure. It is false advertising. For my privacy I am not using my real name on this post. Why should I subject myself to everyone when theyve already posted a picture of me without my permission?

My husband is a patient at Scottsdale Institute of Cosmetic Dermatology. Dr. Friedmans staff are very kind, professional and sensitive to our needs. The way they interract with us feels as if they truely understand what it means to your lose hair and all the psychological and emotional effects that come with hair loss. They eased our minds about what is realistically possible for our case. After 6 month of hair therapy with the laser cap, my husband saw an explosion of improvement that would otherwise be seen with a years worth of treatment. We couldnt be more thrilled and grateful to Dr. Shelly Friedmans team. This office comes highly recommended.

I am 1.5 months post-op from 1800 grafts and I am extremely happy with the results. Gene Galspar (consultant) is an amazing asset to this facility and does everything in his power to take care of you. Dr Friedman is an artist and does amazing work; even the receptionist (Carly) is one of the most helpful people Ive met. I would highly recommend anyone consider this facility for their hair transplant.
