I would leave negative stars if possible. This office is terrible, specifically the medical doctors receptionists. Not the specialty clinics, the general MD clinic portion. I went in for a follow up visit and was unable to be seen. I arrived 9 minutes late according to my phone. The receptionist said that I was 10 minutes late based on the time on her computer. She then explained that since I was late I would not be able to be seen. I said no, I just looked at my phone and it was only 9 after. She continued to argue with me and pulled out some form that stated if you are more than 10 minutes late your appt will have to be rescheduled. I explained to her that I was not 10 minutes late and I had never seen that form nor been informed of it. I asked for her supervisor and a lady named Samantha came out. She obviously had been filled in on the situation prior to coming to speak with me and she said I can only go by what she is telling me and I have to agree with her and go by the time she said you came in. What a freaking joke, who knows what time this lady noticed me. If she looked at her computer just a second later than what my phone said then it could have changed. But I know for a fact I was in that office at 9 after. All cell phones go by universal time, so my phone should be more accurate than her computer. And seriously to argue over a second. I was literally in tears and had my 8 month baby there with me explaining that it took me over an hour to get there and I left an hour early from work and both girls were like oh well... absolutely no sympathy!! I could not believe they were not believing me about the time, just blew my mind. They said the Dr.s time is very important and it puts the rest of the schedule behind, but mind you every time Ive been to this office I have to wait at least 15-30 minutes to be seen. So what about my time, is it not important? Also at my very first appointment to establish pt. care with this office, the medical assistant put me in a room and never told anyone. So I waited 45 minutes before someone came in. It was horrible, the Dr. later explained that the particular M.A. that seated me had left for the day and never bothered to tell anyone. I gave this office a second chance but this was the final straw. And why was I never informed of this late policy? These receptionists are beyond rude. If you work in a medical facility, you really should have some compassion, and these people do not. The stress they put me through was wrong on every level. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place!!!

Im conflicted when I write this because I absolutely LOVE my sons pediatrician, Dr. John Sarmiento, and the OBGYNS who provided me with care during my final pregnancy, Dr. Fara and Dr. Malcolm - but the office staff and administration left me feeling absolutely frustrated, and the office staff never seemed to be on the same page. When my family was in between insurance because my husband started a new career, they were incapable of telling me the flat rate of a sick visit, quoting me anywhere from $200 to $300. Every other pediatric office, or OBGYN office could quote me the cost of an office visit (starting at $40 a visit), and the cost of any additional tests that may be needed. Banner could not. I was left so dissatisfied, that I decided to take my family some place else. Although this most recent issue is what drove my family away, there are many other reasons I will not be returning to Banner Health.

WORST WORST WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. Today I experienced the WORST customer service by a medical assistant. The medial assistant’s name is YOLANDA. She was making fun of the reason I was being seen as well as having ZERO compassion for the reason of my visit. For the past 10 years, I have used Banner for my medical needs and never encounter an individual with such bad customer service skills and bad attitude. She was being unprofessional by streaming at her colleagues and was making racial comments. I will not ever return to his medical center and I hope you don’t ever visit this location as well. I cannot believe that MANAGEMENT has kept an individual like that in their clinic.

AWFUL, AWFUL, AWFUL customer service! I use to go to the OB/GYN and they were amazing but they closed. I needed to see a family doctor for a referral recently and the staff was curt and not helpful at all. Booking an appointment was a challenge, then the staff said they could maybe do a referral since I had been into the office before but called me back to basically call me an idiot for thinking that I could get a referral without getting in which I wanted to come in. The staff seems burnt out and jaded.

Everyone at the office is great. The OBs and the pediatrician, John Sarmeinto. Both my kids are being seen by him and Ive never had a bad experience with any of the staff. The other reviews Ive read are about things that happened once. Its not an ongoing basis. If I had to complain about anything its that Dr. Sarimento is the only pediatrician there, right now. He is often fully booked especially with the past holidays but he never rushed us off or ran through an appointment.

To be honest, I never even made it to the Banner medical office. I am new to the state and needed to find a doctors office. I called because I was really sick and not feeling well and the scheduler I spoke to was rude, not helpful and before I could even tell her my symptoms she cut me off and said "Sorry, we dont take same day appointments". I was trying to get help and she did not seem to care. I have never heard of a doctors office not taking same day appointments.

Our family physician retired and sold the practice to Banner so decided to try Banner Health Center in Surprise. Office staff trying to make it work but some confusion. Several drs have left the practice and only one Dr available. im told that new Drs will not be available until the fall so not able to be seen until then. Will plan to use same day office in Sun City West until then. Looking forward to improvements in the future.

I just called to find out about a quote and before I could even speak to a person the answering machine told me that they were closed and to call back during normal business hours, which for a Saturday is 8am-1pm. I called at 10am. ??? This should really be fixed so I can actually speak to a human and not the machine.

I just had Dr Mazola he is new! all the other Drs left for what I figure is not enough pay or the way it is run!!!I hope the administration figurs out what is wrong with this problem before I take my buisness elswhare..Happy so far but looking for a Dr to go through the senior years with. Good luck to all of us

I started going to this facility during my pregnancy. All the doctors were great! The best part of this facility was Christina at the front desk. She was always smiling, professional and kept the front from feeling too clinical.
