Staff at Banner Estrella are extremely rude and inconsiderate. I have been requesting medical forms to be completed for over a week. They originally said it would be completed within a day. Called back 2 days later and said the doctor has not been in to work. Same answer for next 3 days. Finally, received a call from them saying that they will not be able to complete the forms without an appointment (this was not the case a week ago when I was willing to make the appointment). Hung up on me while trying to get an explanation to why they wont do it. Called back and they hung up again. The doctor finally did agree to complete the forms and do what they said they were originally going to do. Thank you Dr Patel. Staff could still use some work on etiquette and customer service skills.

We have only extremely positive things to say about Dr. Patel and our experience at the Estrella clinic. Dr. Patel was recommended to us by friends when we had our 2 year old son in 2013, and for good reason. He is hands down the most courteous, professional and engaging physician of any kind we have ever dealt with. He listens and takes the time to address our concerns. We always get the sense that he would sit there all day answering our random questions. As first time parents, we have a lot of those. Our son loves him, and so do we! We havent ever had any issues scheduling an appointment. If its an "emergency" we usually get in same day or next day. The facility is always clean and never crowded. Highly recommend Dr. Patel and Banner Health Center Estrella!

My son that is 2months old now and sounded like he was having trouble breathing. Dr Patel said he was going to send a referral to a specialist and I should receive a call within a few days. When I didnt get any calls after a week I called his office and was told it should be another week or so I waited 2 more weeks and called back and the lady that answered the phone was so rude to me I told her I was going to go to another doctor and she said ok good luck. She was very unprofessional.dont get me wrong I really like Dr Patel and think hes a great doctor but the ladys he has handling his patience paperwork are rude and need work. Im not happy at all.

My Daughter had some intense ear pain. I called our daughters Doctors office knowing they will be closing soon. All I could think of was she is going to be waking up tonight around 3 am with ear pain and what can I do to help her? The doctors office was able to squeeze me in real quick we ran over there. Thank goodness our Doctor is here, In Estrella and not down the hill . We love Dr. Raj Patel, MD. The office is always so accommodating. And of course she had an ear infection and pink eye good times. I was so happy we got the medicine we needed before bedtime approached. I highly recommend Dr. Raj Patel, MD.

My daughter is now 7 years old and Dr. Patel has been her pediatrician since she was born. I CANNOT say enough to express what a wonderful doctor he is! He never makes you feel like he is rushing, he is great with children and just overall friendly. Dr. Patel is a leader in his field, with a wealth of knowledge! He has always been right on in his diagnosis and treatment of my daughter. He is conservative with prescribing antibiotics, which I sincerely appreciate, as we live in a world where doctors are sometimes too quick to prescribe drugs. I only wish Dr. Patel could be MY doctor!! :-)

2 of our boys go to Dr. Patel and the oldest goes to Dr. Cox; we have nothing but GREAT things to say about both doctors. My youngest has seen Dr. Patel many many times for different things and each time Dr. Patel gets us in and spends the time explaining everything to us. We have needed several referrals for our youngest and the office has always done a great job working with the insurance and getting us what we need. We have been to other Pedestrians and none of them compare to Dr. Patel and his staff! I would recommend this office to anyone looking for a great group of doctors!

I was diagnosed with a heart murmur back in march and had been putting off getting it checked out. I finally decided I should get it looked at and came here only to be told the doctor couldnt hear a murmur and that if I wanted a second opinion they could refer me out to a cardiologist. Fair enough. Now its been three weeks and I havent heard anything, I even called the office back about a week ago and they said they supposedly made the referral. Ive had the murmur confirmed by other nurses that I know and coming here has been a complete waste of my time and money.

We take both of our daughters to Dr. Patel at Banner Health Center and we just LOVE him! We were at a different pediatric office before the Banner Health Center opened and we NEVER saw that actual pediatrician, just the assistant. Dr. Patel is very kid friendly. My daughter is so excited to go to the doctor every time! He also really takes his time to explain everything to you and cares about your children in all aspects, not just health wise. I couldnt imagine going anywhere else!

Our neighbors strongly recommended Dr. Raj Patel. We are first time parents to a daughter who was born premature. After being in the NICU for several months, we were anxious to find a Pediatrician who would understand our needs. We find Dr. Patel to be very warm and professional. He takes his time to address our concerns and ensures that we understand our daughters plan of care. His staff is professional and we have always found the clinic to be very clean and comfortable.

Just had our first appointment with Dr Patel for my childs check-up. Everyone was very friendly from the front desk all the way to the back room. I appreciated the level of respect and professionalism from the medical staff. Dr. Patel spent a great amount of time sharing his knowledge and answering my questions. He treated my child with a kind and caring disposition. I am very grateful to have found this office, and would recommend them to anyone.

I was completely humiliated in the ER and experienced some of the worst treatment. I will call out one particular nurse Tess who was amazing and helped resolved the situation and actually treated me like a human . The sadest part of all this is I cant go to anything other than a banner hospital due to insurance. There is some policies that seriously need to be changed in order to prevent the treatment I received

It is very unfortunate that scheduling an appointment is so difficult. Three weeks to be seen for illness is unreasonable and embarrassing for your organization. I have been seen in the past by each doctor that has been on staff and there is such a lack of caring for the patient. The office staff is rude, talking to each other about non-work related topics and ignores the patients.
