I will start by saying I have not yet met Dr Barrow , which I was recommended by a friend to him, and my rating is based on the lack of communication in his billing department, front staff and schedulers. With coming out of state and both my husband and I starting new jobs, we didnt have our insurance cards yet but being 20weeks pregnant I set up an appt. after which I knew we would have active insurance. The 3 weeks to that appointment the office has called me repeatedly asking for my insurance information in which I repeated I would bring in my appt date. Unsatisfied with this answer they continued to call me on even more of a number of occasions to tell me I would owe $$$, my total deductible cost; in which I found so unprofessional like any other office Ive ever experienced in the past, including my 12wk OB appt I had before moving. I continued to call my insurance company to find out more about these demands to learn of a new terminology, "global billing". I felt it is the responsibility of the front desk to explain what this is, why it is out of the norm, and perhaps-wait to explain when I come in for my appt rather than blurting false numbers out Im demanded to pay without having all our insurance information. Just to TOP it off, I had called to make an appt with Dr Barrow, to find out in passing conversation I was scheduled to see Amanda, the NP. I had he expectation of seeing whom I set the appt up with and if it was anyone else, I feel it to be the schedulers job to inform everyone, including new patients. I wish I had a choice of another provider because this staff is less than 1 star if I could give it to any Drs visits, including OB I have ever dealt with in the past.

Best OBGYN, I was planning on doing a home water birth with my midwife. I got to about 7/8 cm and my body could not take it anymore and I had extreme back labor. We decided to go into the hospital and we got in and Dr.Barrow did the epidural very quickly and very good. It probably only took, maybe 5 minutes for the epidural. It seemed very quick and I got the relief my body needed to continue to dilate and I pushed my baby girl out in 40 minutes. He was very great and really helped my husband not be so scared cause we were terrified of hospitals and everything. We had planned to do a home water birth and we do things Naturally aND organically as possible and we didnt want any vaccines either. He was amazing to my husband and made him calm and happy and dr.barrow and staff accommodated to my wishes and it was a dream hospital experience, especially for people like us who had a completely different birth plan. Im beyond happy and had a great experience.

Dr.Barrow delivered 3 of my children. He was an amazing doctor and I never once felt worried. Plus he has an amazing office staff and I absolutely adore Amanda!
