Dr. Brunson, I really like. With only one exception to his telling me I had gained too much weight 7+ months into my pregnancy, he had a great bedside manner. His staff, however, with the exception of one lady that checks your blood pressure, etc. is HATEFUL! And, very, very rude when any questions are asked. I am so far along in my pregnancy, its too late to switch dr offices, but I assure you, because of them, if I could, I would be gone! I should not feel bad in asking questions about future appts, much less as to why I am having to re-sign paperwork that they cannot explain the whereabouts of that I originally signed 8 months ago. As the patient, I have every right to ask where paperwork has mysteriously disappeared to, nevermind that funny how the super important paperwork (like my insurance information from which they get paid) is still in place. The same "file" that all my paperwork should be in. I also called in the early stages of my pregnancy, so deathly sick, and the same staff not only did not return my calls, but refused to have me seen. After puking and having diarrhea so bad for so long, I took myself to the ER. Dr. Brunson had NO idea that I had even called to complain, much less was so sick.

I was happy with Dr. Brunson until I went in for my yearly and he told me he wouldnt do my PAP. My insurance pays the pap at 100% every year so there shouldnt have been an issue with me trying to be proactive with my cervical health. I called BCBS to try to get a better understanding of what was meant, after they called him, he sent me a letter discharging me as a patient. "Regarding the phone call from BCBS today about you not receiving a pap smear on your office visit. The ACOG recommendations are a patient is to receive a pap every three years unless medically necessary. I adhere to ACOG guidelines in my practice and not to what your insurance will or will not cover. Trust between a Doctor and patient is imperative in ensuring you receive the best possible care. I unfortunately, feel you might be best served by seeing another physician." Sorry I tried to seek extra clarification but I dont want to have to be reactive to a bad situation because you "adhere to guidelines" instead of performing a simple test that you will be paid 100% for no matter what.

I have used Dr. Brunson for many years. The office staff is very friendly and helpful every time I have come in. They are always ready to help. If I need help with billing or just general information they are always ready with a answer or will find out the answers if they dont know. Dr. Brunson is very professional and always takes the time to answer any questions I may have. He never makes me feel uncomfortable or treats me as if I should know the answer to my questions already. Overall I have always had a good experience and will continue to use him.

LOVE Dr. Brunson, on the other hand his office staff is HORRIBLE!! Especially Shannon the girl that sits at the front desk and pretends to act like she knows what shes doing! I walked in and caught her smoking a vapor cigarette in the office, she is nothing but useless!! Very unprofessional and rude to say the least!

Dr. Brunson delivered all three of my children. Amazing physician. Now, many years later, my girls are patients of his. I know they will have the best of care.
