If you are looking for a veterinarian, look no further. Dr. Ash, and the staff at University Veterinary Center, will provide you the compassionate and competent care you need for your beloved pet. We discovered Dr. Ash in the middle of an emergency. Our dog was exhibiting symptoms of an obstruction, was incredibly ill, and was at our local ER. We were not happy with the quality of care at the ER, but being new to the area, had no idea where else to go. Our friend, and fellow pet parent, strongly recommended Dr. Ash, so we pulled our dog from the ER and rushed her to University Veterinary Center. It was the best decision we could have made. Dr. Ash surgically removed two objects, and our dog healed beautifully. Since then, we have seen him for both routine, and more emergent concerns, and each visit has been as good as the last. Dr. Ash is an educator. Unlike many veterinarians, Dr. Ash includes you in the process and ensures you are an informed pet parent. He is passionate, empathic, and genuinely cares about the quality of care he provides. He is incredibly knowledgeable and is an exceptional diagnostician. His staff is similarly wonderful and his facilities are clean and comfortable. I truly cannot recommend Dr. Ash and UVC enough and am so grateful to have found him!

I have taken all three of my cats and both dogs to Dr. Ash and his excelsior crew. We met when I had just moved to the area and my female cat was failing until I placed her under his care. She then recovered and excelled through her follow up visits. He has also now taken on my boy dogs complex psychological/physiological issues. I have moved frequently in my herds lifetime and have seen 5 other practices in their lifetime. Clinics with 3 or more doctors have been puzzled by the symptoms they have presented. In those previous practices I felt as though I was paying top dollar for real time pharmaceutical experiments on my fur babies. Dr Ash is laser focused on the best (and most cost efficient) course of action, but spends a dear amount of time translating his thought process into terms I can understand. He is knowledgeable and skilled enough to be a surgical specialist. I feel lucky that he is a general practitioner and not hiding away in surgery like most doctors with his expertise. From Charlies professionalism to Vanessas compassion and through Ashs confidence, I finally feel that my animals are in superior hands.

Words cannot express how thankful I am to have found Dr. Ash. The relief Dr. Ash has provided cannot be found elsewhere. No doctor I saw before Dr. Ash were even remotely warm hearted and informative about my dogs heart disease. It was an hour drive which is all worthwhile. The appointment was precisely on time, and so thorough as to be extremely detailed. To be perfectly honest, human physicians do not go to the extent of Dr. Ashs commitment and quality of medical care. Dr. Ash never pressed for expensive or extended treatments. Additionally, his staff reflect him, very professional and pleasant in manner. He is singularly one of the most caring and honest physicians I have ever called upon for my dog’s medical help. Dr. Ash is not only an expert, he is extremely intelligent and a master of his science who will give it to you straight. I give him my full and complete recommendation in every way. My dog’s symptoms are under control right now, but if God forbid it worsens; I will put my dog into Dr. Ash’s capable hands.

I have had pets (mostly dogs) all my life and I have had a lot of great veterinarians take care of my animals in the past. However, Dr. Ash is one of the best vets I have ever had the good fortune of bringing my English Bulldog to. He is very conscientious and actually cares about your pet and its well-being. He is very knowledgeable, works very hard and will not sugar coat his diagnosis of your animal and what needs to be done to treat the animal or overcharge you for services or products you dont need. In fact, I was in his office last Monday and met a couple who had driven about two hours to his vet center because they know that they were getting the best care for their dog from Dr. Ash. You cant go wrong bringing your pet to the University Veterinary Center/Dr. Ash.

Dr. Ash is the most dedicated honest caring doctor. His integrity is unparalleled. He is beyond knowledgeable and goes above and beyond to explain things to help inform and put you at ease. Im a first time dog owner and I feel so lucky to have found Dr. Ash. I dont know what I would do with out him. His facility is super clean and organized. His staff are also very warm and efficient. I would recommend Dr. Ash to anyone looking for a vet. He is really something special.

The staff here is awesome. They always have a smile and are helpful with all kinds of questions. Dr. Ash is great! He takes the time to listen to everything you have to say and all the concerns you have about your pet. I like how he isnt quick to order every single test and x-ray under the sun right away. Hell suggest and tell you why he thinks certain tests should be done. He will be my choice for my pups from now on.

Vet and staff were very profesional. They explain everything and more. Very Happy with their Service . After dental work was done I left home and did not take the antibiotic meds with me, then, the office call me later that night and the vet drove to my house to bring the medicine. WOW! Top Notch Treatment and Service. We were beyond lucky to have Dr Ash treat our dog this past year. She had a terminal diagnosis however he was able to give her 10 good months of life. His staff and himself were always so caring, kind and compassionate. They are the best in Southern California!
