My dog was hit by a car and received instant medical care by my vet. Unfortunately she did not improve. My vet recommended Dr. Sikes. As I was leaving the office several of the staff members spoke highly of him. Dr. Sikes is extremely personable, straight forward and kind. My dog was terrified and he was able to calm her and work with her. Due to his experience and knowledge he was able to locate her problem and diagnosis it. He is able to offer updated care and medical treatment. He understands that you cannot always afford the procedure that is needed for your pet but still gives you a 100% of his time and attention while you are there.

My foster was seen by my regular vet for an injured leg. My vet said the injury was beyond his expertise and referred me to Dr. Sikes. He is highly praised by many yet he was humble enough to consult with professional colleagues to determine the first course of treatment. I was very impressed. After deciding what to do he performed the surgery. He IS very personable and we have a lot of conversation to the point of confusing dates and times for follow up appointments and aftercare but we figure it all out.

I am sorry, but I could not disagree more with Mark! I took my dog in for a TOPL surgical consult. Dr. Sikes was very attentive, humorous, and incredibly sweet to my dog. He took extra time to explain the surgery and recovery in detail. He gives you his personal cell number to call if you have any post-op concerns. I wish all physicians were this personable! I hope I never need to see another surgeon for my dog, but if I did, Dr. Sikes would be at the top of my list!!!

Didnt get a chance to see or speak with Dr. Sikes. I was trying to get an order of magnitude on the cost to neuter my dog and the staff insisted there was no way they could even ball park the cost without seeing my dog. I told them how big she was and how much she weighed and they still insisted to bring my dog in. Call me old fashioned, but for $105 consultation fee, I need more than my dogs weight and size, which I already know.
