I have been coming here for quite awhile and had always gotten what I considered, great service. However, there is a new doctor there named Jaramillo that I do not recommend. I had been there only weeks before and she basically disagreed with everything their own other vet had stated previously about the eye situation. This time I had brought the dog in for a bad cough. She didnt even listen to the chest with a stethoscope and even after I prodded her she simply stated that she always forgets her stethoscope and that she would do it in the back when she gave her the medications. Somehow I dont believe that happened. I also offered to let her hear the dog cough as I had recorded it and she also wouldnt listen and just blew it off saying she had heard it hundreds of times before. I have since been to a new vet who has diagnosed Bronchial Pneumonia after x-raying her chest....something Dr. Jaramillo never even suggested. The new vet also stated that one medications she had given him was really going to be quite bad for the situation but since it was a 30 day dose there wasnt much we could now do. I feel as though I wasted two appointments here and got nowhere., as well as wasted a lot of my money. I first came in for a clogged up eye and the medication didnt fix it and now this latest adventure with the pneumonia they couldnt seem to diagnose. She was just not a very nice person. I wanted a suggestion on flea products and told her how one of my dogs had gotten very sick and eventually had kidney failure from one and she argued that it was impossible. I explained to her that I had been to see a specialist and gotten many opinions from alternate vets. She arrogantly insisted that even though she want even there that she could tell me for sure that it was from a back injury. I stated that I didnt think this was the case and she stated that she disagreed. I must add that there is doctor there they call Dr. K and she is great

Just came back from putting down my 10yr old dog Seven at Family Vet Hospital, i HAD to express how my experience went. I have dogs, cats & birds cuz i LOVE LOVE animals a lot, and at my age of 43 i have been to many many different vet businesses and by FAR this vet office is the ABSOLUTE BEST BEST EVER AROUND! The staff is great, but there is a vet there by the name of Dr J that is AWESOME, WONDERFUL, TERRIFIC, and just basically more then words can express!!! She definitely has a big heart & has exceptional customer service! If you havent been, GO THERE NEXT TIME, you will be extremely pleased! THANK YOU family vet & THANK YOU DrJ! Albert C.

Dr. J is the BEST! Shes a straight shooter and doesnt over-prescribe or do unnecessary procedures or operations. She will spend as much time as you need to discuss your pets problems and offers many suggestions and recommendations. She is a top-notch doc who really cares about your pet and we are so grateful to have found her. Her staff is also the most pleasant group of medical assistants Ive ever met - super friendly, polite & always helpful. The facility has had a makeover recently and looks brand-new, and is always super-clean. Wish I could give Family Animal Hospital 10 stars!

Cannot say enough good things about this place. Beyond reasonable prices. Incredibly friendly, welcoming, and informative staff. We couldnt believe how short our wait was considering its a walk-in clinic. Dr. J took her time with us, explained all of her ideas and recommendations. Offered us a range of treatment options without pressuring us for expensive treatments. She even came out to the waiting room because she thought of one more thing and wanted to share before we checked-out. Best vet (and overall any kind of doctor) experience ever!!!!

This place is a blessing! Having experienced other vets Im so thankful weve found them (being neighbors is convenient too). She is very honest and helpful. She genuinely cares about your pets and isnt just fake nice very real and natural. They dont run up a huge fancy tab of unnecessary proceedures/tests/treatments (unlike EVERY other vet Ive been to) and she even offers natural DIY at home treatments. LOVE, love, love them!

My dog is 12 and has a bad set of hips. His back legs collapsed and the doctor spoke plainly and honestly with me; what more can you ask from the doctor helping you in this situation? Three days after with prednisone and at her suggestions, Billygoat is back to fighting form. They didnt even charge me for the visit. Class act vet.

I love the staff and will never take my puppy/dog anywhere else. They were kind, caring and respectful. As a new pup mom i had lots of questions and concerns and they took the time to answer me. I also love that they have the prices right there on the website. What i had done was dewormer, exam and vaccinations all for $65

Little bit of long wait times, but if you arrive early youre sure to get your pet in. I took my brand new kitten here to get neutered and when found worms as well, and offered to also include a shot for them. The staff seemed very friendly, and my kitten got home and acted like everything was totally normal.

My go to place for veterinary services. Family Animal first off is very affordable. I just got my dog spayed for ~$100. Service is great as well as all the MAs are extremely friendly.
