I came here last month when I had a urinary infection. I work in foster city and I googled urgent care and their name came up. I called them up and I was able to get a same day appointment which was terrific. I really liked the fact that they were able to get me in during my lunch break from work. A few other places I called werent able to get me such a quick appt. One place wanted me to wait 2 weeks! Ha ha. By then my infection would probably be gone or I would be in severe agony. The location is very convenient close to both 92 and 101. I live in San Mateo and this was just a few minutes from my house if you go the back way off 3rd avenue onto foster city blvd and then hillsdale blvd. Their office is on the 2nd floor of a really nice medical building. You get off the elevator and then make a right down the hallway and its the last suite on the right. When I walked into the office I was pretty impressed, they had some serene music playing and a nature show playing on a sweet flat screen tv. They even had some tea I could have in the waiting room. The checking process was a snap. I filled out the paperwork in a couple minutes. And then they took me right in to check my height, weight , temperature, and blood pressure. So far so good. Their office was super clean, modern, and new. I felt like I was at the W hotel not a doctors office. They took a urine sample and I waited in the room for only 2 minutes and the doctor came right in. No waiting for an hour or more like other clinics. This I can dig! I saw Dr. Dave who was very warm, comforting, and thorough. He got the results of my urine sample in a few minutes and it showed I did indeed have an infection. He really took time to answer all my questions and address all my concerns. He sent in a prescription for antibiotics and I was on my way back to work. This place rocks! I am definitely coming back here in the future. I am going to tell all my friends and family to come here if they want to see a wonderful doctor and cool clinic where all the staff are actually nice instead of other places where the front desk gives you the stink eye. I highly recommended this place to all my fellow googlers.

I had an awesome experience at this urgent care clinic. Foster City Medical Center is the best! I had a bad case of bronchitis and I received excellent care from this facility. The staff at the front desk were very helpful and made the check in process a breeze. I only waited about 5 minutes to see the doctor. This is the shortest wait ever for an urgent care center. I saw Dr. Dave and he was great. He explained everything in detail and seemed to really know his stuff. He even took time to explain to me how my allergies to pollen and trees were affecting my body. This place offers allergy testing which is super convenient so I dont have to see a specialist. I coming back next week to get the skin allergy test done and then I am going to be starting the allergy drops. The allergy drops are way more convenient that allergy shots which are old school. With the drops you only have to come to the clinic once every 3 months, as opposed to coming into the clinic every week for an allergy shot. I am going to tell all my friends about this super efficient, convenient, and friendly clinic.

I was feeling really sick while I was at my office. My regular doctor is based out of Danville, CA. I called up Foster City Medical center and the receptionist was very kind and she gave me an appointment immediately. I met Dr Dave and he was so nice to spend time and do all the necessary tests. I was diagnosed with Strep and was given a prescription for antibiotics. The best part was that I was called after a week from the doctors office which I never experienced before from any doctor before. This is a medical practice that truly cares for its patients.

I have a bad experience with them. My whole family did our complete immigration medical tests over there spending a lot of money out of pocket and when I went there again 2 months later to endorse the very same report for my sons school admission, they asked for $150 !! Their staff was very arrogant and Dr Tam was not doing justice to his profession as a doctor. My sons primary care physician in the next building was however very accommodating to accept their report and sign the form.

I had my immigration exam done here for USCIS paperwork to help me obtain my green card. This clinic is awesome. It was smooth, easy, and very efficient. The staff was very helpful. The doctor was great and he explained the details of the process step by step. I definitely will be telling any of my friends who need their greencard to come here for their USCIS immigration medical exam and paperwork certification.

Dr. Howard is my new pcp. I just moved here from Midwest and was looking to get established with a new doctor. I am lucky to find Dr. Howard. She is so sweet, understanding and smart. She does pap smears too which is great so i dont have to hassel with seeing a gynecologist unless its something serious.

Got a rapid strep test done and the nurse swabbed my cheek. Idiocy. Of course the test showed up negative. Went to another urgent care and tested positive. At least they gave me an antibiotic to "cover bases". Im so mad
