Today I write to complain about the Security person on duty Friday 7/21/2017 in the afternoon. I worked for Madera County Behavioral Health and we work with the hospital; everyday, and I have visited this place for the last 13 years with no issues whatsoever until last Friday. I was on the way to serve one of our clts legal papers when the guard intercepted me outside the main entrance and questioning if I had a "card" to go in, I asked if the system had changed and that I was coming for a clt. I properly identified myself and showed him my work ID, explained to guard three times why I was there and he insisted on the details of why I was there, I told him each time that I was there to see our clt and serve him court papers and he was not satisfied insisting that It is not permitted to do that in the facility insisting in more details and I stated that Hippa prevents me to give him additional info. I finally got in with him and he continues with comments regarding my reason for ben there. In the lobby the person behind the desk caught the guards negative attitude once she called the unit and was told to let me in. the guard commented again. "he would not tell me why he is here" and I answered that I am prevented from giving information and the guard answered back with a smile "she, meaning the desk person, told me what it is" while smiling and I answered that that is on her. I was finally let in. this is the only time that I have had issues with anyone in this facility that treats our clts very well. I believe that Security hasd to be properly trained as to not interfere with others official business.

I was admitted a few times, every single time I was admitted I was really scared to begin with. The nurses did EVERYTHING they could to help me feel better, even turning on the phones agree normal hours to get comfort from my loved ones. Considering my mental state at the time, most hospitals would have kept me prisioned for the full 72 hours which has never had any positive impact on my treatment. Dr. Sievert was luckily my doctor everytime I went in. He remembered me, and remembered what I had said from a whole month before. I know he really listened to my problems instead of just diagnosing unnecessary problems and drugs. He did everything he could to keep me alive in a comfortable state. I have had horrible past experiences with other facilities and caused PTSD, the wouldnt put anyone in my room because they knew that would ease my fears. I am so thankful for this place, especially for that terrible time in my life. They saved my life.

I had just come from being treated worse then an animal at Clovis Hospital lock down unit. The nurse that admitted me, Jamie was so kind, even gave me a blanket because I was so very cold. The Night watchman even treated me so kindly and was very respectful. I saw Dr. Ting first thing in the morning. He was understanding and caring and listened to me and gave me what I think was a very accurate diagnosis. I was only able to attend one group meeting because I had been discharged. The leader was a great moderator, I also found the other patients to be be insightful and helpful. I never met anyone unkind. The nursing staff that I dealt with were very all very helpful.

Horrible Experience I was picking up a patient and was informed by the very rude security guard that I could not park in front and had to move my vehicle. I then stated well why is there a sign that states loading and unloading/ 10min parking? And he told me no its for paramedics only. I wouldnt have been bothered if he told me in a professional manner.

Im thankful that I was admitted to this facility. I was treated with respect by all the staff. Everyone worked hard to provide the best care possible to all of the patients, both those who actively participated and even to those who could not or would not try to get better.
