At first, this office was amazing. They had friendly staff the moment you walked in and they treated you like family. Dr. Talmood herself was nice and made sure you didn’t feel any pain through whatever procedure you are going through. I was initially having wisdom tooth discomfort and had them removed on a whim. The procedures progressed to checking on the stitches, cleaning teeth and having some fillings done. As you progress through different checkups, that’s where the difficulty with this office lies. Dr. Talmood tends to overbook. One time she ended up short staffed and we had to wait longer. Aside from the first appointment, they do not tell you how much the procedures are before you even do them. You have to ask them in order to know. Now, the reason I had to move my review down from a 5 star is all the hassle I’ve been dealing with in regards to insurance. I was having fillings done and they would not let me do my procedure without first paying for it. They knew of my filling procedure TWO WEEKS before the actual appointment and did not bother to contact my insurance in the meantime to see if it was covered. By the time I was there at my appointment, they wanted me to pay the full cost. I asked what the policy was on the insurance contacting them back in regards to this matter. Her personnel said that if it is covered, they will reimburse me whatever amount was in excess. Mind you, I took time out of my work to be there this day. I paid what I could and went ahead with the procedure. A month after, I contacted them in regards to this and they said they still had not heard back from the insurance. So I called back two weeks later. The receptionist knew of my situation and said she was busy with something and asked if she could call me back the next day. I waited the entire week and did not hear back from her. I called back on that Friday (which I wasn’t aware the office was closed) and left a voicemail. By the following week, I still had not heard from them and I had to initiate the call. I received a notification from my dental insurance informing me of the procedures that were done and notifying me that they covered a portion of it. Dr. Talmood’s staff refuse to resolve this issue. If you don’t want the hassle with her personnel, I do not suggest you go here.

Anna is amazing. After years of going to an army dentist and not being numb at all during procedures I was very scared of going and having a tooth fixed that had broke. The whole staff was amazing, from the moment my wife and I walked in the door. The doc allowed my wife to sit with me during everything I had done even though Im sure at least 75% of the time she was in the way. I ended up needing two root canals. The doc walked me through everything. If she thought I was going to feel or maybe the numbing was wearing off, she would give me another shot. She was very kind and Gentle. I could tell she truly cared about what she was doing. My wife couldnt come on my last two appointments and the staff knew how nervous and scared I was so Christina, the front desk lady, came and talked to me. It was never a generic weather conversation either. The other techs as well would stop and ask me if I was doing ok. They really helped me calm and relax which has never happened before for me. Anna was amazing. My wife will be going to her as well. I am thankful for the work Anna did and any future work she will do. Even if you are nervous, give anna and her staff a try. Go in and talk with them. This is how density should be done.

Here are a few reason: 1. She overbooks, thus LONG wait times. My numbing shot basically wore off by the time she got to me, so I was receiving multiple shots during one visit. One visit was an ALL DAY affair at her office. 2. Her receptionist advised me to switch from HMO to PPO, and as a result, I had to pay literally thousands of dollars out of pocket... BAD ADVICE, should have kept HMO for all the work I got done there! 3. I still had pain in my tooth for a filling that was done here, therefore she had to take my "white" fillings out, and put in the "gray" filling, and I still had pain in that tooth after she re-did the filling twice! 4. Her assistant seems to do more work than he is supposed to do, and he nor she is gentle at all when dealing w/ my teeth/gums. My mouth was frequently bloody by the time I left the office. Of all these reasons, I have to say that the "overbooking" is the worst one, since I hate wasting a whole day at the dentists office. But the pain I experienced there is probably second. Compared to my current dentist which I love, US Dental Fullerton was seriously a nightmare!!!

Dr. Talmood is the absolute greatest. Like most teenagers, I was terrified to remove my wisdom teeth. I am very uncomfortable about needles and was nervous for my surgery day for a whole month. Everything changed when I walked into Dr. Talmoods office. Her receptionist had a gleaming smile on her face and warmly greeted me. The dental assistants were all very positive and catered to my every need and concern. They immediately made me feel comfortable, which is very rare in dental offices. Dr. Talmood is very professional and personable. She helped me relax before the surgery and really put me in the right mindset to conquer my fear. I was so surprised as to how quickly and effectively she was able to extract my wisdom teeth. She congratulated me for being strong when the surgery was over and personally sat down with me to give me information about recovering. Dr. Talmood turned a situation that couldve been terrifying into a pleasant experience. I would highly recommend this office to anyone looking for a visit to the dentist that you actually look forward to. 10/10! Thank you Doctor!

Just got home from seeing Dr. Talmood for my yearly checkup. This was the 3rd time that I have seen her and this time it was for XRays, cleaning, polishing and exam and all went well. She explains everything to you, is very thorough and knowledgable. As a senior citizen, who has seen a few dentists in his lifetime, I can honestly say that she is a great dentist and I will continue to see her. Dr. Talmood has a great staff, starting with Christina, her office manager. Everyone treats you with courtesy and professionalism in a very friendly atmosphere. Additionally, her office is centrally located in Fullerton with plenty of parking and next to a Cocos restaurant, a Ralphs market and a gas station making it easy to go to the dentist, get gas, have breakfast or lunch and go grocery shopping .

Dr. Talmood and her team are fantastic! I have always had a fear of going to the dentist because tartar builds up quickly on my teeth and I have early periodontal disease, but Dr. Talmood and her hygienist (I believe her name is Jen) made recommendations for my oral care that have made a dramatic difference. They are also extremely kind and understanding about fearful patients and do everything they can to make your experience as comfortable and painless as possible. At my most recent appointment, I had virtually no buildup, and my pockets that were previously 4-5 mm have all been reduced to 3 mm or less. To say I am thrilled with this result would be an understatement! Thank you so much, Dr. Talmood and Jen, for helping me have teeth and gums that I can be proud of. :)
