Really bad judgement and the are financially motivated despite jeaporadising peoples lives. My father was in ICU one day showed zero improvements they moved him to a regular room the second day then the third day released him. My mother argued with the Drs he was not ready, they ignored her. The fourth day at home we found him DEAD. Cant get him back, never talk to him again, no do overs DEAD. Take people you wouldnt mind disappearing from this planet here. I have heard TONS of similar tales Im sad to say. They couldnt treat me one time cause my injuries were beyond their capabilities. Ad to ambulance me to Roseville thank God!

It was a pretty bad experience for me yesterday...technician called in sick...okay, waited for someone to come in from home to replace him. The nurse did no have the IV thing down. The solution did not go through the correct channel and burned and ached like hell...okay, try again, no, didnt work unless you are just trying to make designs on your arm. Then the third time finally did work. Luckily the technician was so sweet other wise I think I might have just left before even starting. All my previous experiences have been excellent.

I was having a major heart attack the clot was in the main artery. Blocking blood from flowing to 68% of my heart. And i waited 20 minutes in the ER. When a person is having chest pains you should not be waiting for admitting and triage. You should bypass all that and go straight to EKG. Once i was brought to the back i was in such serious condition that i was in an ambulance and shipped to mercy within10 minutes. Very close to death due to negligence at this hospital it is called a widow maker heart attack for a reason.

It was terrible, my doctor was over an hour late to work for my surgery. I woke up in extreme pain with bare minimum medication (2mg of morphine) after a hernia surgery. The nurse was using unsafe practice with my IV (no gloves and using her mouth as a way to cut tape. I had to drive an hour and a half home and I am still waiting for my medication. I am very uncomfortable and extremely any upset. The surgery was very sloppy and my surgery went home before I woke up. I do not recommend this hospital to anyone. ISAAC LANG

After moving from Southern California to the Grass Valley - Nevada City area, my wife and myself have had several occasions that required the services of Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital. We have had nothing but praise for the professionalism, expertise and courtesy of all the staff members whom we encountered. I have had two admissions in their facilities over the twenty years I have lived here. Both were comfortable and pleasant.

I will always take my business here. I met a sufficient, kind, hard working man while attending the hospital, by the name of Chris. Even though he was trying to work, he was very kind towards me and helped me out, putting me first. He also did an amazing job. Chris is the type of employee that puts human kindness in dignity health. Thank you for such an amazing experience.

I had my baby at the Family Birth Center and the entire staff was incredible. I had a long, very hard labor and they didnt force a c-section on me and let me go through labor the way that I wanted. They really respected my birth plan and explained all interventions to me.

I received such excellent care both from the ambulance EMTs and the ER staff in October. Each provider was courteous, explained their procedures, answered my questions and saw that I was as comfortable as possible. Thank you all!

The staff could not have been kinder, or more efficient during my moms brief illness. Her last moments were very peaceful. Sierra Nevada has a wonderful team, both inside and outside of the ICU.

An all-around terrible hospital, slow, unorganized, and rude. Expect to spend at least 8 hours waiting, and also to be ignored and have no communication with the staff during your visit.
