This place is HORRIBLE!!!!! Will never come back to this place again! I dont understand when someone is taken in by ambulance and from a car accident and no doctors or nurses will come in to check on the patient. My mom was there from 6:30 pm til 3:30 am and NOT A SINGLE DOCTOR OR NURSE came by to see if she needed anything. The only time someone would come in to see her is when they needed her to go get a CT scan. When I ask and tell them my mom is in pain, all they ever say to me was that there is only one doctor they are seeing 20 patients and they will get to her as soon as they get the results. When my mom got the CT done, it was 12:30am and the guy said it will take about 45 min to an hour for the results. I literally gave them an extra hour to come tell us the results. No one came. I went to check and the nurse at the counter said everything came in and the doctor should be in shortly. Another hour went by. Nothing. I went back to ask. They told me the previous nurse told me a lie. Not everything came back. That they are still waiting. They also blame it on the computer system. That there was something wrong and they are receiving the results slower than normal. After I made a big fuss about it and went back to the room, not even 3 mins past a RN came in to apologize. Then 2 mins later another nurse came in to apologize. Then barely 2 mins after that nurse left, the doctor came by and gave the results and apologize. WHAT THE HELL IS THAT SUPPOSE TO DO!! Is that suppose to be like a pain reliever for the past??!! This is a hell hole. Not a helping hospital like an actual hospital should be! I would give it a zero star rating if it would allow me to.

February 12, 2016 Dear Sir; I am writing to bring to your attention a very unsatisfactory visit to your Emergency room on 2/11/2016. I awoke at home with chest pains about 8:00 AM. We called an ambulance and they transported me to the Dameron Hospital Emergency room. We arrived approximately 9:00 AM. I was taken to an emergency exam room. I got an EKG, X-Ray, and blood work. The Doctor that came in said they were all negative but they would like me to stay over and do a Stress Test Friday morning. They said they would move me to a regular room shortly. This was approximately 10:30 AM Thursday. I was not moved shortly and when I asked the answer was, I don’t know when you will be moved. I waited an hour and asked again, same answer. On my third request for information, I was told it could be 4 – 6 hours. This was a very uncomfortable room. Not designed for long term stay. I had to ask for a urinal, I had to ask for water, I had to ask for a soft drink. I was anchored to the bed with the oxygen line, EKG line, and blood pressure line. I could not even stand up due to the monitoring devices. No one seemed to care about my comfort. At 4:00 I asked again about moving. Still no answer. At 5:15 I told the male nurse that I was checking out. I spent eight hours in this room designed for examinations not long term stay. If I’d stayed, I could have been there all night. He brought me a release of liability form to sign and left. I had to unplug myself from all the monitors and dress. I left your hospital at that point. I am very disappointed in the service I received at Dameron Hospital. I would be very concerned about using your facilities again. Curt Carlson Kaiser # 5855337

I took my father to the energency room last night. Three different nurses were estremely rude. My father is outspoken, a veteran and does not like nurses to speak as if he is not in room. Which shouldnt be done anyway. He advised one of the nurses he is glad she didnt yell at him like the previous one did. This nurse yells and says she is trying and she needs to calm down...for what? These nurses are not trained to deal with people. The nurse practitioner took excellent care og my father, but the experience with others put a incredible bad taste in my mouth. We were told that this hospital treats Black people different and tries to treat us all as angry. They even have certain nurses that they give most black patients too, per some of the staff. They need to look at how the nurses have no people skills, try to talk down to patients and simply dont know what the hell they are doing. Example the one nurse stuck my dad with the needle then tried to tie the tourniquit around his arm and said it came untied. Liar I watched everything. She NEVER tied it on his arm. Instead of saying she made an error she tried to act like ut was his fault... This was one of two bad experience we had at this hospital. Past time they sent a prescription home that was too strong for my dad he is a dialysis patient. When I called to get prescription adjusted, the problems they gave me for their errors were horrible. We will not be back!

I went on a trip to L.A. to visit some friends, when I got a call from my dad saying his right side is feeling kind of weird. So I rush back in town to see what was going on. He started to describe his symptoms. At the time, I didnt know what was really going on but I knew he showing some sign of a stroke. So I took him to Dameron and we didnt wait too long a the E.R. Since my dad dont speak too good of the English language, I took it upon myself to tell the nurse and doctor what was going on. They ran some test on him and give him a CT scan. So I ask the doctor, what was going on? He say the CT scan is clear and whatever happen have pass and discharged my dad. As we were getting ready to leave I can see my dad struggling to get up on his right side. Right then, I should of gotten a second opinion, but I thought to myself, the doctor say everything looked fine and took his word at face value. So guess what? the next day my dad had a stroke and now he have right sided paralysis and is in bed for probably the rest of his life and I was force to quit my job in order to take care of him. My advise is to always go with your gut feeling and never take people word because even if they are doctor, they might not be the best one. Thank a lot Dameron, if you hire more stuffs that care for the patient and more qualify, my dad wouldnt been misdiagnosed.

First of all I like to say that ER staff are better this time for a change, in being courteous toward us and attentive. My husband went in for a chest pain and was kept overnight to run some other test. The next day around 10am my husband was wheeled down to their basement for a test. Now, for the man who wore a white coat who ran tests on my husband hear this. I know you have worked there for over 20 years plus and probably a disgruntled employee while at it. Having worked there at a deaden job does not give you a green light to disrespect your patients family member. I am your paying customers. I am not your governments aids recipient. It pissed me off to have seen you behave in such away. You should consider retirement because you are in a wrong business. Just because I am of Asian descendants, it does not give you the right to disrespect us. When a question is asked you need to explain nicely. Not slamming doors and says "someone is talking too much and they dont know what they are talking about" were you born knowing how to do your job? Or did someone taught you how. I am sooooo happy that Kaiser no longer used this hospital.
