Hello, My name is Justin , I brought my sister Jamie into Auburn Faith Hospital on 8/2/15, after an hour 1/2 of waiting in the lobby she was admitted to the ER, where they put her into the hall way because there were no rooms available, they laid her in a gurney and walked away without explaining this is where she would be treated. A PA came and drew her blood where she continued to wait in the hallway on a very uncomfortable gurney . Her symptoms were very swollen/painful feet and ankles, a rash with blisters that moved around the body, itchy scalp, nausea/vomiting, headaches, ear pain and extreme back pain. After about 4 hours of waiting, the the doctor finally stopped by the hallway he barely introduced himself and we thought he was a janitor (apparently his name tag said Dan (MD), his full name we couldnt find on the paperwork) he asked where the rash was, then he told her it definitely wasn’t shingles and he told her to go to a rheumatoid doctor, that he didn’t know what she had and sent her home with a prednisone prescription. He did not examine her, talk to her about her pain or head aches, listen to her heart, absolutely nothing. He then went on to say that if the Prednisone does not work to come back and he The PA told us otherwise stating that we are not to come back unless it is an emergency and we need to see a Rheumatologist. We are very disappointed in her visit to the facility. Not sure what the emergency room is good for anymore We don’t feel they should be charging us for inadequate service. My sister was and still is very ill and it would have been nice if they had taken some time with her and actually had a conversation before discharging her. Needless to say, she was very upset and did let the staff know verbally of her disappointment with their service. Thank you, Justin

I have had to be hospitalized here twice in the past year and both times I was treated kindly and professionally I was put at ease immediately even though I was in some distress and pain. The admitting people were all efficient and thoughtful and the doctors and nurses, while busy, never made me feel that they had no time for me. I felt cared for. Even though the ER was crowded they seem to know right away who needs care the most and you are seen in that order. I was having what seemed to be heart issues so they were very fast to get me hooked up and admitted. I did have to wait a short while in the ER hallway for a bed to be made available but that was understandable. After all, they had no idea I was coming! I could see how overworked the nurses were but they never made me feel that I was "bothering them when I needed something even though I was reluctant to press my buzzer. They were always sweet and thoughtful and seemed to genuinely like what they were doing. The doctors that I met, while hurried, seemed just as thoughtful and intelligent. I also found the people in the other places, like ex-ray and MRI rooms to be just as nice and professional. I really dont like spending time in a hospital. Who does right? But if I did have to go again I would not hesitate for a second to use Auburn Faith. It was clean and friendly and seems to be very well run by highly skilled and humane people. I should have written this sooner but at least I am writing it now. I had to when I saw the two negative reviews. I cant imagine what happened to them but I am sure there was confusion and misunderstanding but its certainly hard to believe it was negligence.

READ THIS FIRST!!! ALMOST ALL OF THESE REVIEWS ARE FROM PEOPLE THAT DID NOT NEED URGENT CARE! My husband got very, VERY sick and almost died. The triage nurse was quick to get him in and analyze the situation. Not even 10 minutes later they came out with a wheelchair, rushed him into the ER, did more work/tests and got him into the ICU. The thing that these people leaving bad reviews need to realize is that the hospital staff has to assess the urgency of the matter and bring people in accordingly. I have, also, had to go into the ER due to things that I thought were more relevant than they actually were...ie: miscarriages...3 of them. Unfortunately, when it comes to something like that, there was LITERALLY nothing they could have done to prevent them. The wait did hurt at the time, and it is only now, that I see that I could not be helped and that I was at the bottom of the "importance" list. If you go into the ER and judge them due to their level of quickness getting to you, then you need to be just as willing to understand that some people need the help a HECK of a lot more than you! The care and service at this hospital is INCREDIBLE!!! They saved my hubbys life! If I hadnt taken him to this hospital, when I did (with their intellect at hand), I would not be married, I would NOT have my children (4 of them, THANK YOU!!!) and I would not be who or where I am today! THIS HOSPITAL IS AMAZING!!!! THANK YOU SUTTER AUBURN FAITH HOSPITAL!!!

terrible...they threw me out in the street...because, they didnt take the blue cross anthem medical plan i had....this is after they started treatment at their open wound clinic, was seen roughly 4-6 times...the dr. at the open wound clinic, had ordered an MRI for an open wound on my foot...i never heard back from the hospital mri dept...the procedure was dropped by them, and they never called me, to explain why i had not been approved for an mri....the hospital is a very sub-standard facility...go anywhere else u can to avoid this place...service is terrible...a dr. benson, orthopod, did the same stunt...i had seen dr. benson, and his staff had set up an appointment, and the dr. ordered an mri for a shoulder problem...when i returned for a follow up, the good dr. refused to see me, and this is after he had seen me, because he didnt accept my blue cross plan....this is after the dr.s staff said they in fact did take my plan...the whole hospital needs in provement...

Im not completely pleased with a couple comments I got from Dr. Heu and a nurse wearing a nose ring (completely unsanitary and unprofessional in the medical field) Dr. Heu couldnt help but tell me the spelling of my daughters name is "weird" my daughter was sent to the ER by her physician to be evaluated not to be criticized on the spelling of her name in which I gave her. The nurse kept making comments like I was overreacting because I brought my daughter to the ER for flu symptoms. Like I said we were sent here by her physician because she was afraid it was her appendix. Her physician was not comfortable sending us home because her lower quades hurt when she touched them. She even had to throw the question in there "is she your first kid"? The way she was saying it was just in a rude manner. We were there for my daughter to be evaluated not to be judged and criticized.

Absolutely horrible quality. Nurses are very good and caring , but the doctors are horrible, egotistical and provide terrible care. I worked in the fire service and almost every time we brought a patient in I was amazed at how the patient was treated. We even have a nick name, Sutter Auburn No-Faith. I have been in as a patient and had the doctor literally yell at me for a drug that I was taking that was prescribed by my family physician. If you have time and a choice, go to Sutter Roseville. Excellent in every way except the waiting room is always packed. Avoid Dr Lwai like the plague.
