I was at Kaiser in South Sac today for an appointment/class, and after I saw the Doctor I asked the nurse where the blood pressure station was. I always get my BP checked once a week at a Kaiser and thought while I was here I would get it done. She said to go to room 214. I did just that. I normally go to the BP screening station at Fair Oaks in Sacramento or the one at Riverside. They put me in the middle of an open room where people are walking and talking so you have no chance to relax. The one nurse was training the other nurse how to take BP. She put a cuff on my arm and made a big deal about how I needed a bigger cuff. She talked about me like I was a pain in her butt and called people on the phone and just kept going on and on about having to find a bigger cuff. She had no tact at all. Then she put a cuff on me and set it to take my BP six times, SIX TIMES! By the time it was done doing all 6, my arm was in a great deal of pain. Then she came back over and said my BP was 141 over… but would not say the second number and also refused to write the reading in my blue Kaiser BP book. She asked me if I would mind changing my blood pressure medication. I said that was up to my Kaiser doctor. She did not like that answer and said she was going to go find a doctor and have them change my medications. She said it would take a while for her to find someone and to find another cuff as they were going to take my BP again. I said “NO! You have hurt me enough for one visit,” and I said I was leaving. She said I needed to see a doctor and have my BP meds changed. I told her that if were to change my medications that it will be my own Doctor and not just some one off the floor. She said I could not leave, to which I said, “Watch me!” and left. I have never seen such medical incompetence in my life! I left South Sac and I went right to the person I have been going to for my BP checks at Fair Oaks Kaiser and my reading was fine. 138/72, Pulse 74. I am sure it was only that high from my being so upset by the fools at South Sac BP Station, Room 214. I will never go to the one at South Sac again. Also, if that is the way they take care of people at South Sac I will NOT be having any suggested surgery there! I hope this matter will be looked into and some changes made in Room 214! However, I doubt that will happen, as after making a formal complaint with Kaiser members Services the letter I received from them showed that they had screwed up and thought I was complaining about the blood pressure station at Fair Oaks and not South Sac. Im seriously considering changing to another health care provider.

I had an appointment to get self help from psych as asked by the courts. I got Dr. Champagne off Stockton Blvd from Kaiser. I filled out the questions and indicated I needed immediate help. Its seems difficult to me to explain to him that Im seeking help to understand how its ok for a spouse to shoot a gun , avoid prosecution and file a restraining order while obtaining full custody of our child. My behavior has changed, Ive asked all legal agencies one can think of and asked them the same question, how is it possible to fire a gun and walk away with child custody. Everyone tells me its not ok and cant seem to have an explanation as to why the CA courts would allow such a thing. When asked if I can do the same, I am being told no its against the law. I asked the same question after explaining to the DR. my situation and after he learned of my wifes name and that this matter was for courts, he changed his whole attitude. Instead of providing me help and counseling, he told me ( I dont know if it were reverse phycology ) to do what she had done .He told me to do the same if they allowing her to do it and ignoring me. I know its not right and I know this doctor was wrong. I was intending to tell staff inside the hospital, but decided to take an administrative approach as to why would you tell a desperate man in need of help to shoot and walk away with a child. Bad Doctor he should be checked and if you seek help avoid Dr. Patrick Champagne. No one cares about a state of ca female domestic gun violence purprtrators terrorist attack ,hating on middle eastern men. Family court awards em custody.

Dr. Makram in the pediatric department is the epitome of the kind of doctor who truly loves to do what she does and it shows in every single action that she takes with your child, shes the main reason that I keep going here. She is truly top notch and deserves an award for the care that she gives. *sigh* The South tower pharmacy sucks, theyre always taking more than an hour, horribly understaffed and consistently need you to do THEIR job. Now the ER is great, in and out for anything not a major issue and the clerks and about 90% of the doctors care for you as if they genuinely love their job, the nurses are top notch, I have never had a bad encounter with my care, when it came to the nurses doing their job, I believe they are the true heros. Ill end this review with this: I moved to midtown and still mad the trek to continue bringing my daughter to her pediatrician, shes been here since she was born and Ill never move her to another pediatrician, if its not a definite necessity, between the prompt appointments (same day) in peds, the staff and nurses in the pediatric department, makes the drive worth it. I would highly recommend and refer what friends and family that I already havent, to bring their child here. I wish the entire hospital would get in line with the departments that I praised, it would surely make the continuity of care much more better, in order to truly call this a trauma center.

The Staff is terrible at the Psychiatrist Team Therapist, spoke with two ladies this morning and sounded like they dont even have no patience to hear you out and eager to get off the phone...I have to apoligze myself for taking so muchof their time for asking too much questions and telling them my concerns about my son their patient. Their form of communication is very poor I am having to repeat my sons condition to 3 different people...and it feels like your going over and over again with them for instance the meds that my son is on... I dont know how they do their passing of communication for their patients..this is not the first time and it bothers me ..My son voluntarily ask for this hospital but i know I had bad experience with this place.. Their facility is always is always having problem for accomodations in regards to bed. I think if you go down the live of public peoples reviews you have many more 1 stars rates on ..its 2017 and dont you all think its time for a change? A change that will make this 1 stars rated go away... Need to provide us a different ways of serving your community..A change for EXCELLENCY IS NECESSARY
