i agree that the staff who work in the er are rude and treat people as if they dont i just 3 hours in the er on veterans and it was the most miserable three hrs of my life i was in a great deal of pain and they placed me on a bed in the hallway there was a door that really slamed hard and i mean hard and loud i am jumpy and every time that door slammed i jerked and the pain was intensived i had kidney stones i asked them to move me away from the door they ignored my request i had live with that pain for three hours before i got a shot to kill the pain as soon as i got the shot i said i want out of here right now i put on my clpthes and i left some one with a bad heart who is jumpy will have a heart attack they could adjust the door closure or us soft closing hinges if i have an emergency medical condition i am going to try to make it to mdesto or stockton they were very rude to my granddaughter when she called to ask about me this was a terrible experience for a 71 yr old man

Ive been going there ever since weve moved to Manteca. Great service and hospitality. Took care of me every time. However, after volunteering at the hospital, Ive seen some of the negative situations close up. There are often delays in service, lack of wheelchairs, and somewhat inappropriate conversing amongst staff members. Nothing BAD, like confidentiality violations, just that its not as business oriented as one would expect. The technology and physical layout of the hospital could be better to facilitate care and getting around. Even with some of the negativity, the hospital in general is a very nice place to be if you are sick. All the doctors and nursing staff are very nice, and provide excellent medical care. You will be surprised of the gentle and caring attitude of all areas of staff, from cafeteria workers, to administers. THE PIZZA IS DELICIOUS!!!

And the only reason it got a second star because of the staff. Husband had a wreck waited n lobby for 1 hr fo ro the ed lobby for another hr. Finally n a room and its been another hour no word or sight of the doctor. Nurse said we were next well I hope the doctor spends just as much time with my husband that is n pain and hurt as he is with whatever is taking so damn long. Will not come back here. I would of rather go to my hometown hospital and they suck but the wait time and feeling dumb cause u dont know what is going on then this place. And who draws blood in the hallway really people infections and privacy does this hospital have a right to run my gosh.

The staff was nice to me.. Im not gonna say they werent but definitely disorganized. This facility is old and way too small for a city the size of Manteca and its dirty. The room they put me in had penny-size drops of blood on the floor and all little flying insects buzzing around and landing on me! The doctor was rude and unprofessional in my opinion. He wore a mask over his face like I have plague or something? He had an accent and wasnt speaking very loudly so I could barley understand him. Theyd be better off letting patients just stay in their vehicles and the doctor can come around to your car and talk to you there since hes SO worried about germs

Worst hospital experience ever! Came in for tooth ache. I was the only person in waiting room and it took 1 hr to be called back. Another hour to see the doctor. They ask for insurance at the entrance which other hospitals dont do until after your seen. They didnt even fill out wristband correctly. 3 hours into hospital visit and still not given anything for pain. Unfriendly staff. Unorganized. I will never come back to this hospital ever again. I recomend if your in alot of pain and need to be seen quickly do not come here. Tracy hospital is the best ive been to.

I was admitted for 6 days due to my high risk pregnancy, and let me just say though my stay was not easy due to my illness the staff and doctors made me feel as comfortable as they could !!!! ALL the nurses I came across were amazing and catered to my every need. A few that really made an impact Annie, Rebecca, Claudia, Ashley and Tanya ! All from Labor and delivery, and they were really all wonderful. And although many warned me of how bad Doctors Medical Center can be I experience the total opposite so thank you for that !!!

RUN!!! They will do nothing for you but take money!!! Go to Tracy or Stockton instead. ER would not give pain medication to my son 11 year old son who had a double broken arm on Christmas. Would not do any tests as I asked due to not having symptoms that are listed in their computer even though whole family has been sick and tested positive with out symptoms. People who work there are rude and disrespectful. They have no concern for human life just their paycheck.

I just had to stay 3 days in Dr Hospital Manteca for a PE and DVT. I started off in the ER then once diagnosed transferred to the ICU. I was extremely happy with all the care and especially the staff, Lisa my ICU nurse was one of the friendliest nurses Ive ever had. The facility may not be state of the art but I think the staff makes up for it. It doesnt matter how new and shinny the building is it matters if they know how to take care of you.

I took my daughter in on Friday, February 19 2016, she was complaining of pain in her lower left quadrant. After only a short 8 hrs of of sitting there and watching my daughter bent over in pain. We were released and told they couldnt find nothing. Todays Monday February 22 2016 and shes still in pain and had to miss school. Im going to take her in somewhere else this time.

Im new to Manteca, so I thought it would be a hassle going to a new hospital but Everyone was very nice handle the paper work quickly and I was seen as well as explained the reason for more testing and they made me feel really comfortable If its like that every time I will return and bring my Husband, when we need medical care. This hospital has gone bad so fast. I have been admitted here since friday. The nurses dont know right from left. Iss so sad that there are only 2 hospitals in Manteca and Kaiser isnt much better. What are we supposed to do if we really need help or need to be seen in a good hospital. Please any ideas cause i will not be coming back here ever again

Still sitting in the waiting room 6 hrs and no call back. Chief complaint trouble breathing chest pain and flu like symtoms. No toilet paper in bathroom soap all over the mirror and floor for over an hour. I havent seen one person get taken back gor at least 2 hrs. Who is running this place???

My daughter had her son here this month. It was a Saturday everyone on call. L/d nurses were rude. Finally we got 2nurses that were awesome.. After c-section in room nurses were worse! Didnt seem anyone liked there job rude with big attitude!! That doesnt belong in with so much happiness!!
