I went to this clinic a few times and Dr. Dave was great, however the vet techs didnt seem to know what was going on. One vet tech came in and asked some questions that they should have already known (from my dogs files, weight) and scribbled something on a post it. Then took my dogs temperature and my dog started to squirm, the tech didnt know how to hold my dog, so I had hold him, another vet tech also didnt hold my dog at all and poked my dog with the needle 3 times because the tech kept missing. My dog wasnt even squirmming that much. My x-girlfriend was a vet tech and she said that one of the first things that they teach them is how to hold an animal thats squirmming, I wonder what school they went to. They tried to schedule my dog to get a shot earlier then was supposed to, I questioned it, then they checked the file and apoligized. Also, what really did it for me to find another vet was that while I was waiting to be seen, the front desk girls started talking bad about a customer that just left. I wonder what they said about me behind my back. The cats that live in the clinic are overweight which makes me wonder if they are in the best interest in the health of the animals. Dr. Dave was why I continued to go there, but the tech are the ones the mainly do the routine stuff with the animals, and I dont trust them too much.

The best Vet in Irvine, and possibly in Orange County. No matter how big a veterinary hospital may be, what matters is the knowledge and caring of the particular doctor that diagnoses and treats your companion animals. And Doctor Dave at Irvine Boulevard Animal Hospital is far and away the most understanding and competent vet who has ever cared for our dogs -- and we have been to quite a few vets over the years. Unlike the huge vet clinics that have absorbed the smaller ones, you know your pets will always get Doctor Dave and his staff. Very important to me is that his fees are very reasonable (a bargain compared to most) and he and his staff dont pressure you into expensive procedures that may or may not have any impact. He takes sufficient time to provide detailed explanations, in a manner you will understand, and rapidly responds to emails. Aside from being a marvelous vet, hes also one of the nicest guys youll ever meet.

I took my dog there when he hurt his back leg, I really like the fact that Dr. Driscoll thoroughly explained everything he could about my dogs injury, and gave me choices in regards to what could be done about it. I like that he offers conservative treatment choices as well as more invasive ones, explained pros and cons of both and let me decide what to do and then supported my choice. He is extremely patient and took time to answer several questions I had. The staff is very nice and I would recommend this vet to friends and family. I am very happy to have found Dr. Driscoll!

Dr Driscoll has been my Veterinarian for the past 15 years. Dr Driscoll is the most caring and talented Veterinarian I have ever met. He is extremely thoughtful and thorough, and personally calls after certain types of appointments to follow-up on the welfare of your furry friend!!! My last three Goldens have been under Dr. Daves care. I highly recommend Dr. Driscoll and his dedicated employees for your pet care needs.

BEST VET ANYWHERE! I have been taking my dogs to Dr. Dave for years! I had to move out of the OC and live in Palm Springs now and I still commute them in to this wonderful hospital and staff. I will NEVER take my dogs anywhere else. They are above and beyond knowledgeable and one of my dogs has a rare disease that Dr. Dave an staff handle and help me treat with such love! Great prices and even better SO MUCH LOVE HERE!

Dr. Dave and his staff are incredibly courteous and knowledgeable. I have boarded my cats and dog there multiple times and have never had an issue, unlike some other vets I have used in the past. Dr. Dave has always done a fantastic job explaining treatment and options fully, taking time to make sure I understand. Also I have never had the upsell that I have experienced at other vets. I recommend him fully!!!

I never write reviews for anything, but I have to say I was very happy with the service my dog and I received with dr. driscoll. The best part was that he even converses with you via email after the visit if you have any pressing questions (even after hours might I add, it was friday evening when I emailed him, prompt response within hours). Just very happy with this vet.

Dr. Driscoll is great. You can tell he is doing his lifes work by the way he treats his patients and their parents. The staff are always helpful and the facility if immaculate. I wouldnt go anywhere else. Thanks from Bear and family Dr. Dave.

Clean office, affordable services, and knowledgeable and caring staff. Dr. Driscoll was more than willing to address all sorts of questions and concerns. Tammy and Chris were extremely careful and caring towards my dog. Excellent Staff!
