Dr. Cao is fantastic. I was sad to see Dr. McInroy go but decided to stay and give the new owner/doctor a try and I am so glad I did! He is very patient and explains each treament and why its necessary which is very comforting. The prices are very reasonable for Orange County, especially Irvine. The front staff are always so friendly and welcoming and always seem happy to see my pets. Dr. Cao is always great about following up on my pets and getting me the testing results promptly. I couldnt recommend this place enough. P.S. They also do boarding! There boarding prices are great and the care givers send you text photo updates of your pets stay. My dogs always look so happy and relaxed during their stay.

On March 21, 2017, I took my puppy for a rabies shot. I was uninformed that there were preventative measures to ensure that my dog did not die from an allergic reaction or an overdose. As a result of the shot, my dog had a horrible reaction - his eyes buldged, gums swelled, he became lethargic, and started vomiting. I took him to the emergency room where they administered urgent care. Dr. McInroy refused to reimburse me for the visit even though she informed me of the preventative measures referenced above as a result of her experience with her own dog nearly dying years prior.

I took my dog in for some shots & a physical exam on 10/27/2015, I dont knw what they did to him inside....when Dr. Nila said he collapsed after his ear was being cleaned. He was put on oxygen & declared DEAD shortly after!!! Stunned & still in dis-belief, as he was the most affectionate, calm & sweet dog you would ever meet in your lifetime, to top it all he was only 7 years old :( :(

Dr. Cao and his staff are first class. There is no other Vet that I trust to treat my pup. Most Vets try to nickel and dime you for everything. You can expect an honest, caring, and friendly experience at Irvine Valley Vetinary Hospital.

My dog suffers from a rare, hard to treat, often fatal genetic disease. Dr. Kelly save his life twice and keeps him in good health due to her dedication and professionalism. She is an excellent, kind and dedicated veterinarian.
