We have been a customer here for approx. 20 years & have had small issue over the years the front office staff have never been that friendly & not the sharpest. On our recent visit we took my youngest dog Blaze to see Dr. Brauer because we noticed when she was eating a raw hide there was a small amount of blood. Dr. Brauer examined Blaze & told me that Blaze had a fractured tooth and they could either have a root canal done or the tooth extracted. I requested the tooth extraction & Dr. Brauer told me that while there is just a small amount of plaque on Blaze teeth that she recommended having the teeth cleaned while blaze was under sedation, which I agreed. On 2/10/14 when I arrived to pick Blaze up I was told by the Dental Tech(Tracy) that she could not find anything wrong with Blazes teeth, that Blaze was good enough to allow her to check her teeth 5 or 6 times and found nothing wrong with the teeth and that in her opinion Blaze did not even need them cleaned, yet she still went ahead & administered the anesthesia and did what I do not know since Tracy told me that there was nothing wrong with Blazes teeth. What could she have extracted or cleaned?? This is not the first issue we have experienced with Dr. Theresa Brauer but it will be the last and as others have stated in there reviews & in our opinion Dr. Theresa Brauer should not be treating any animals large or small! Blaze should never have been put through this traumatic experience & would not have been if she was examined properly to begin with. It is more then obvious to us that these people have no concern for the well being of our fur babies only the $$$$.

Please take your family pet member somewhere else. This company is dishonest, disrespectful, money hungry, and points blame anywhere else but themselves. The company failed to disclose all costs associated with the visit (even when I asked what all costs were) and failed to get my authoriazation of an injection. I was so disturrbed by the visit that I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Throughout the process, the company blamed me, the client, was rude, made excuses, and replied in an untimely manner (their average response time was three weeks and once after the file was already closed). They were also unsympathetic and never once offered an apology. Their actions clearly state that they are money hungry and do not see their client and pet as valuable because a business that values their clients (and pet) would be quick to offer the client at least an apology for a horrible experience. If this review has not satisfied you and you are still considering taking your family pet member to their clinic, I can offer you advice: if your pet is not in a life or death situation do research on your own (the information out there is endless, just dedicate a moment to find it), if you do go to their clinic ask many questions and make sure you get clear answers, do not let them take your pet out of your sight (ask to go in the back room with your pet), do not sign any paperwork until the end of your visit, and make sure to speak up, be loud, and do not let their fast-talking and fast-moving staff give you the run around or confuse you.

My one and a half year old dog lost her life due to an unreliable team of veterinarians and staff. I took my dog in for mild case of diarrhea and vomiting thinking that they would know how to treat my dog with professionalism and care. The vet took my dog to the back, gave her to his technicians to obtain a blood test without the supervision of a veterinarian and the next thing I found out was my dog had collapsed due to the shock of a blood test that wasn’t even given and past away a few hours later. The vet’s response was that he did not know what had happened and was in as much shock as I. He said my pet was worked on by all the vets in that hospital, trying not to take any responsibility for his actions. What kind of veterinarians practice in such an unprofessional and irresponsible manner! My biggest mistake was to trust this group of veterinarians with the life of my pet. I would never use this group of vets again.

I have been going to this vet for 20 years now and would recommend them highly. I brought my cat there first and when he died I got 2 small dogs who have gone there for 12 years each until one passed away and the other still goes there. They have 1/2 price on vacinations on certain days as long as they have been examined in the previous year. I usually see Dr Clark who started the facility and he is a wonderful man with a "way" with all animals, but he is in surgery a lot. I have also seen Dr Gonzales who is very good but you need to ask her all questions until you are satisfied; she is on the quiet side. The facility is very clean and well kept, no smells or anything. My only complaint is the young girls who work up front. They arent always as understanding and perceptive as they could be, but it is hard to find good help and keep them these days anywhere. I would recommend them to anyone who needs a good vet.

They are the best. This place cares about your animals as well as you. My cat had to be put to sleep and they were so kind and caring as they did it to me and my cat. And 6 months later I had to take my dog in for an ear infection and they were so gentle and kind to her and very informative to me. They made sure that she was okay and that I was okay and if you give them your price range they will tell you in advance what they can afford to do for you. I love that they dont nickel and dime you. And their kindness goes above and beyond anywhere I have been yet.

Chino Hills Small Animal Hospital has always been wonderful to our animals. They always have great advice and my animals are actually not afraid when we come in the door. Staff is wonderful and friendly. We came here after our total dissatisfaction with Banfield who treats animals like they are on an assembly line. Totally automated. Not for my babies! Come to Chino Hills Small Animal Hospital because they really do care and are very friendly.

We moved here fr FL, the thought of having to find a new vet for shots and boarding was a task. I searched and searched fr the Rancho Cucumunga area to Chino Hills. After reading reviews and stopping into the vet office, I was pleased! Very clean, friendly staff, reasonable prices, etc...Im boarding my dogs with them this week for the 1st time. Check them out!
