The Nightmare on La Paz Street: Routine Spay turned Steenis Stop! The story of arresting an active puppies heart and blaming your pet and charging you more! Looks like the same Veterinarian Hacks that pay for play (giving away stuff for 5 star reviews, a Yelp violation) also have a team to get your reviews removed. Sad people!! I wrote my true story and experience with this "hospital" NOT! Example the vet is calling other "more qualified" vets to learn on the job while your baby pup is tied to a table. SO SAD! Who would ever subject there beloved animal to this, not me and I warned my GF over and over. Luckily our pup had many people praying for her and was a fighter. She lived up to her nick as, Rambo. wouldnt let some hack finish her off. Dont be fooled by "PUPPY PLANS" these are inflated prices turned THREATS as the sick fellow vet did The vet tech trying to bill my GF for revival, WHILE, we were supposed to be "emergency transporting" "I will only release her if you put her in the car and drive directly there" (Steenis), This after the drugs she gave her stopped her heart and she had to be revived via CPR with broken ribs. Car is on, A/C max, yet 1 nurse is holding our barely alive pup while the other sits down and starts discussing the costs of revival... it was all so sick and against their own words. "DOING YOU A FAVOR" Yet the most alarming thing was when the V-Tech said to the both of us, same one trying to bill, quote "from all the other ones I have seen here I think she will probably live" ARE YOU KIDDING ME... Ask yourself and friends how many perfectly healthy puppies have gone in for thee most common procedure in the world and have died on the table??? Yet vet tech has seen ENOUGH PUPPY SPAY HEART ATTACKS to establish a statistical average... The Steenis Stop is costing well over $2k. Luckily our little pup is alive, BIG THANKS TO THE SPEC VET at VMSG in San Juan!!! You know the one Steenis was calling all day, learning on the job. Lets not forget they never called either of us for hours after our pup had an adverse reaction to the anesthesia and Steenis decided to proceed, no call, nothing! Your dog is vomiting in reaction to a drug they gave her but they keep you in the dark. Did I mention they tacked on $500+ dollars in extra charges after I went to ask for her file the next day so I could take her to a trustworthy and experienced vet I was constantly trying to get my GF to switch to. Oh! and told them our now primarily deaf and destroyed pup would never be coming back. Here the dog has 2 more PAID FOR (overpriced) vists, nope were keeping your money. WARNING!! PUPPY PLAN!! So I am waiting in the lobby, I have collected her poor leash, collar and toy that were left during the "expected to be paid though we lied to you" emergency they created. Steenis "Oh just need to go in the back and print it", waiting.... waiting... and then Steenis the Stopper came out and said "Oh the file is not ready yet" Ugh I immediately thought, what is she going to change knowing our displeasure. Well a lot, she added charges for CPR and a plethora of other expenses. Over half a grand!! ETHICAL, I THINK NOT! Who knew the same things costs m 24hrs later. Steenis caused it, unless you know a puppy that can inject and gas themselves with anesthesia. Seriously! STEENIS DECIDED TO PROCEED AFTER A NEGATIVE REACTION! Could go on on about the disparate timeline, series of events, etc. once we got to the REAL pet hospital. VMSG who I can only say were exemplary! Found out the Vet on call was walking Steenis through her whole day. You tell people who the vet was and they have "that reaction"! That sick understanding based on previous experience, like theyve heard it a million times before. I take care of my dogs until the day they die. They well outlive expectancy. So! Friends have been calling me making sure this sorry overpriced and inexperienced place IS NOT their vet, location is convenience, and many wouldnt know the wiser when hacks buy off Yelp reviews!

I have been going to this clinic for over 20 years and I have seen many vets come and go. Recently I called them in the afternoon one hour before they closed and informed them that my dog was experiencing labored breathing and they could not accept her because she would require monitoring beyond their operating hours. So they referred me to a place called VMSG that is a 24 hour clinic. She is 13 years old so I knew she would have some problems. I could not afford the over one thousand dollar bill so I took her home. Her breathing was still labored I went to Pacific Park Animal Hospital to buy some meds for her bronchitis(one of the things that was wrong with her). They tried to get me to get her prescription from VMSG but I didnt want to drive all that way. I showed them the diagnosis paperwork I received from VMSG but they wouldnt allow me to buy meds for her unless I brought her in for an exam. I indicated that she had the exam from the place that they referred me to but they wanted to see her anyways. I was not about to pay for another exam when she just had one!! They would not budge and I was very disappointed in their non-action. They are just a bunch of money grubbing people that dont care about your pet but only about the money! Over the years I have spent thousands of dollars on my dogs at this clinic, but no more. Pet owners beware! They respect the dollar more than your pet!!

Was in yesterday with dog #6...have been going to this vet/animal hospital for a very long time, way before it was Pacific Park Animal Hospital. I had an appointment for his annual check up/shots, why make an appointment it you have to wait? Was there for over 2 1/2 hours...WHY? If there was an emergency or a problem, they should have been courteous enough to tell me. I will never go back. The more I think of my latest experience, the more upset I get. Staff and vet was very nice...but I could not understand the wait...I dont even have to wait that long when I go to the Dr. Plus, it seemed like they were too interested in SELLING me their services.

Pacific Park Animal Hospital is my new go to veterinarian in South Orange County. Not only did they do a great job in my pets time of need, but they helped save her life. After being turned away by my veterinarian of 5.5 years during my pets emergency, Pacific Park came to the rescue and saw my dog, Bella, within 2 minutes of me walking through the door. Everyone that works there is amazing and they really show how much they care about your furry family members. I cannot give them enough praise, keep up the good work Pacific Park!!!

The veterinarians and staff @ Pacific Park Animal Hospital are wonderful! One of our Balinese kitties had ingested a foreign object and had a blockage. The care and compassion they provided to us and our kitty were exceptional. And, with their care and assistance, our kitty was quickly on the road to recovery. We have also called their office with questions on our pets care and behavior -- they always provided very helpful advice and guidance. I highly recommended them to anyone who has pets!
